They won't stop calling

They call every day. I did not answer at first. I finally answered and just heard a bunch of people in an office or something talking. I heard someone call someone else the B word.

I would like to know who is it????????????

I keep getting calls from them.  I don't know them and they don't stop.  Last call today - at 2:40 pm PST

These are high school kids who get paid more than McDonalds so they'll sit on the phone and call people all day long. There is basically no way to report them to any authority so you will sometimes have them swear at you or an instance described a few posts up. They also will try to annoy the hell out of you if you piss them off or try to tell them off. The best recourse I believe is to waste as much of their time as they do of yours. Pick up the phone talk nonsense to them. See how long you can keep them on the phone but don't give them anything. Ask them to hold and go do somethinig else for 5 minutes. Pretend to be interested but never stop asking questions. Time to fight back. If you waste enough of their time you might just get them fired. wouldnt that make you feel better.

american properties....just recently called and left a messege not knowiningly...saying "i play with it all the time...(laughing)..." they call several times a day(about 5) for atleast a week now and after reading all these creepy complaints im going to do something to stop this sh*.

Hi, my friend is also getting calls from this number so I called the police in that area and they told me that anyone getting calls from this # needs to call the police dept. in their area and report it. They need that report to investigate it. I hope everyone who is getting these calls does report it because I can only imagine how many people that are being scammed PLUS where are they working where they have access to peoples credit card numbers, phone numbers and names. This isnt just annoying calls, they have your information so please be safe and report the calls to the police so these people can be caught! I just reported it to Verison and they said they will investigate it.

This phone number called. I picked up and the man said I saw you have a good standing on your credit card and I want to give you some rewards what is your address so I can mail it to you? I kept saying what? What? What? Then he hanged up. I called back the number, but I got a message this number is no longer in service.

They continue to call me on a daily bassis....about the 5th time they called, I started picked up and talking to someone.  I lie to them and make them go through their entire speech before I ask them how they feel about being a scammer.  I get hung up on.  I'm annoyed with them and I would love to know how they got my number.

I have received more then 4 calls a day from this number for more then 3 weeks. However, when i finally answered no one says anything and they end up hanging up.  I have gotten similar calls many times a day from numbers i dont know. One said that my physician had given them my info and they wanted me to join a health care something or other. I am sure that my physician would not ever give out any information without my consent. Also, there is a federal do not call list which is supposed to prevent these calls. My number is on it and i still get them however i do report these solicitation numbers to the federal list. They are supposed to be fined.

I get calls from this number every day! I finally answered and since I have been through this before when I was getting calls from another number, basically the same thing.  They said my name and if I had my card that ended in those four numbers,  and that they wanted to give me a free gas card.  This time I said that I did not have that account and he said " I don't care if you have that account" I just need the information.  He was very rude! Obviously Scammers.  I told him a few words and hung up. I hope they dont' keep calling me.

This number started calling me today and I ignored it until I looked this up. I decided to answer the next time they called. When I did they asked for me by name and I said this is she, they hung up quickly. It makes me very nervous that they are trying to get you to say enough to make some kind of charge or send you something. They definitely wanted to know that my name went with the number they had called. My number is registered with the do not call registry so I went to their website and filed a complaint. Anyone else who's number is registered should do the same! Your number has to have been registtered for 31 days before you can file a complaint though.

I keep getting phone calls from 7272161823. They don't say anything. I've asked who it is and they stay silent. I wish they would leave me alone it's creepy.

i just added them to my reject list, and at the end of the day it shows that they've called 7 times in one day and they start as early as 8:45am.

They called a few times, and I finally picked up. He said he was from my Visa card, then it got weird...he asked me when I was coming home so we can have dinner and go do bed together...I was in shock and I said what?! and we repeated it again faster, so I hung up. I can't believe this! It scared me and I wasn't sure if he was somehow downloading information from my account and trying to keep me on the phone...who are these people?!!

I had this number call me several times a day, but they would let it ring once then hang up.So annoying!This is one reason  why I need to completely rid my life of credit cards!

I had a call from this number today, but I didn't answer it.  They did not leave a voicemail.  They called my cell phone.  Hopefully I will not have a problem.

No name came up just the number.

Also...2 minutes before this call, I got a call that came up "private".  I also did not answer this call.

these folks don't think I know they are in Clearwater or that I frequently visit family there. I plan on stopping at this J.O.'s house and making an unsolicited/harassing visit that may include a good old fashioned asswhupping.

I answered a call of this number, They told me that They were Chase Rewards. Is not true. 2 day later They made a fraudulent transaction ($4.95)with charge in my credit card. Chase Fraud Department call me and ask to me if I made the transaction. They cancel my Credit Card and They will send me a new one in 1 week.

This person called my house and my son answered.  The guy said that since I was in good standing they would send me a gift card to Walmart.  Then he started with a survey.  My son told him he was not the card holder but the guy kept going.  Then he started talking faster and said something about sending me something and that they would bill me.  I immediately called my card company to report it.

The same thing happened to me.  He gave me numbers...but when I told him I didn't have the account anymore he hung up quickly.  It's a shame that these scammers are able to do such things in the country who is supposed to have the best mainland security!  Where is the security?  People just aren't safe anymore.  There is no one out there trying to help, or trying to stop these people.  They say "As long as it's a business, it can operate"!!  How sad is that?!!!

This number calls atleast once a day. I haven;t answered it and it hasn't left a message. It says american properties on the caller id.

I have been getting many of these phone calls in one day I don't know how they got my name but I finally picked up and asked who was calling he did give his name and they were calling from "American Properties" supposedly it does show on the caller id but they said my first name and said we are calling in regards to your visa debit card with the last 4 numbers and they called it out exactly and they said you have won a free gas card etc and said congratulations and before he finished that I hung up and I called my bank and asked about if I should be concerned about it and change my card and she said I don't think so as long as you didn't give out any info. and there isn't anything going on with your acct. that should be but she said if you want to you can.  So be aware and I think they call from many different numbers and names so be wary don't give out any personal info of any kind to anyone over the phone legit companies will not ask for info like that.  Just hang up on them and hope they don't call back.  If they do I will give them an earful for sure about being scam artists and trying to steal from people who they think they can fool.  Most people are not that gullible.  And I think everyone should give them an earful at the time they call and I should have but I just hung up.  Thanks, gcfc
