Jennifer called today with an offer of $52000 for my lot in Spring Hill.  The number used is 727 230- 8585.  I also thought the amount was unbelievable and almost went for it until she spoke about the $700 deposit that would be needed up front.  $650 would be returned at closing and only $50 would be kept for administrative costs.  Said I'd have to think about it and thought I'd do a search.  So glad that I did.  The initial call was about 3 weeks ago from a male but I don't have that number.
Thanks everyone. bh

This is what I have:
Suzanne Roger called, asking to sell my properties.  I said I had been trying and no one is interested right now.  She gave me a spiel and I said I wanted to think about it.  She called me back saying she had someone interested, I said I wouldn't sell for less than $25,000 for a certain lot.  She kind of giggled and said it would be for a lot more.  I said I didn't see how but went ahead with the $500 charge.  Then called by bank and put a hold on my card after I hung up.  I called her back and said I had cancelled it because it was so unbelievable. She said she had an interested party for an $65,000 for four lots (approximate worth $41,000.  I ask if her name is really Suzanne Rogers she said yes (because of the previous info I read where they use false names)  I said I thought it was a scam and she said how honest she was and she had grandparents and she wouldn?t do something like that and she needs her job etc.  She said something about ?we couldn?t do that unless we had an offer?.  So I went ahead with it telling her I had reservations about it.  I also had mentioned the negative information I had found online she said she didn?t know about it.  She was going to call me back for something (I can?t remember what now).  When she called back she said she had spoke with her manager (boss?) and the manager said it was some disgruntled employee and they tried getting it removed but couldn?t.  And I asked about how long it would take. . . about 30 days.  After which, I called her back and was told I would have to talk to customer service about everything now because it was being taken care of in another department.  I told her if you were the one with the contract information why can?t  I talk to you.  And for the second time brought up the comments negative comments I found on line.   She said she didn?t know about them. I was transferred to Tina DeMaio,  after we spoke for a while she about back and was basically told it takes 45 days told the person I didn't believe it was happening and wanted my money back.  She said it wasn't going happen and after a heated exchange she hung up on me.  That was Tina DeMaio. (no longer with the company). There is so much more.  So now I am trying to get my money back.  I called and Jennifer Clemens is telling me now that I need to read the contract which is stating they only advertise the property.  And didn't I say now that no one promised me anything  but  advertising.  I ask her about all the other stuff on the web site and where I could see all this other advertising.  All she kept saying we did what we said we would do, didn't you read the contract.  I told her I wanted to see where they advertised either my land or their website.  She asked me did you go to the website I said yes and that the picture they were using was not representative of my land.  I told her I whet  through 400 pages on the internet looking to see where their website would come up and never found it.  Every time I brought up the website she referred to the contract.  I told her about all the stuff I have documented.  I asked her what about the "interested party" for the great amount.  She said we always have interested parties.  I said no!  what about the one I was told that was interested in my land for $65,000 and who is he or she or what.  She asked,  if I remembered answering the recorded question about understanding that they would advertise my land, I said yes but I was going off what two of her representatives told me about the $65,000 dollar offer that was made and in process.  I told her I wasn't going to argue anymore I wanted my money back.  I am going to the better BBB and that I have lots of information.  etc  etc.  All I want to know am I going to get my money back and she said she would call me by three this afternoon. Did not happen.  I was told once before someone would call me back and it never happened.  What I think is interesting is that if you read all the info above you will see the other companies no longer in business used the same customer service number 1-888-516-6041.  It has just changed in the last few weeks to 1-727-230-8050.  The website layout has changed to more color.  I have additional information which I would like to share.  I believe this is fraudulent.  I do believe it is a scam and I am still researching additional information.   There are too many coincidences with all the other connected companies (phone number).  Also if you look up Global Properties, Premier Property Services, Preferred Property Services they all had the same customer service phone number.  Also on line you will find that they were using alias's not their real names.

Well, I see these jack***es are still at it.  Geeze, I only wish everyone they call would do a little research because if they did - this so called company would be out of business in no time flat!!  Talk about unethical and just plain low down. They called my sister and we immediately found all this info about this scamming organization.  She can't wait until they call back - does she have an earful for them!

I have been contacted by Todd saying he has a buyer for a vacant Colorado lot. The BBB http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-revi ... ark-fl-90061044
has had several 16 complaints in 36 months with 16 being resolved it was B- two weeks ago, today it is has a grade of C+.  I dig further. Today I was on their web site sellland2day.com and looked at the "contract" for sellers. The contract states the following:

Global Properties 1, Inc. is a For Sale By Owner advertising company; we are NOT a real estate broker. The advertising
program involves pooling advertising resources with those of other advertisers to maximize exposure to potential buyers. (2) Global Properties guarantees to advertise your property for 90 days. This transaction is your payment for 90 days of advertising.  Should the property not sell within 90 days, please contact us to discuss continued advertisement of your property. (3) Global Properties will refund a portion of your advertising fee if any other company sells your property within 10% of your original asking price upon proof of sale. (4) Once the sale of your property takes place you will be refunded the portfolio fee minus Global Properties administrative fee. (5) Client has within 7 business days to cancel with a written notice to Global Properties.

I don't see that the contract supports Todd's claim that there is a willing buyer for my property. So for me, my money will stay in my pocket. Thank you anyway Global Properties 1

Todd Burke called to offer 894, 000 for our land in steamboat which is worth 400,000 saying we had to pay an escrow fee of 892.00 and would get our money back when closing.  Todd said the business has been around 3 years then when we talked to a another associate Phillip and he said they had been around since august 2008. Too many things that don't add up to better business. With our current economy, scams are becoming more and more frequent.  I'm glad these guys aren't too bright with theirs.  The address they gave was 8800 48th st. N. Suite 307 Tinelias Park Florida, 33762.  The phone number is 727-230-0537.  The website is selllandtoday.com.

DONT DO IT! and warn others!

Todd is still at it.  He called us and said he had a buyer for our vacant land in Colorado at twice what it is worth.  We only had to give them $300 "escrow money" of which we would get $250 back at closing.  When he called to "complete the paper work" I told him I had seen the scams on the Internet and wasn't interested and he immediately hung up.

I received a call from Global Properties that I see is not on your list.  Here is another contact number for your records.
First the man I spoke with said his name was William Evans, phone number 727-230-7082.  We have a vacant lot in Colorado & when I told him what the asking price was, he said he would get back to me.  I told him to call the realtor I had listed it with... I bet I will not hear back from them.  good.

I've been contacted twice by this company who says they have interested buyers in our vacant land in Colorado.  They want $400.00 up front to "take care of" paperwork, etc.  When I told them I did Internet research and I see "advertising scam" pop up a lot, the rep claimed they are not in Tampa, Florida and that is some other company.  I guess she didn't realize we used to live near Tampa and the area code is 727.  The deal sounded attractive as the "buyer" was offering a lot more than we were expecting.  However, no REAL real estate agent would take money up front so stay away from this scam by Global Properites 1.

Cynthia the secretary called to tell me people are interested in my lot in my county in Colorado. She was calling from Global Properties in Florida. She put me through to Todd Burke.  He told me he could get me 108,000 for my lot.  It is worth 50,000. I wouldn't have to pay anything, only $50 at closing. It sounded too good to be true (I didn't believe him) so I told him of course I wasn't going to go forward with this until I found out who he was and what his Company was all about.  He told me to go on the website and call him back at 727-230-6675. After reading the website, their system for selling was bogus.  You don't sell land and wait two weeks to get paid!! I typed in this number and started reading all this. They are calling everyone who owns a lot in this neighborhood.  they are scamming us.

Lots of phone calls from this number are described under 727-563-6792. These are from Global Proberties and there are lots of complaints tied to their "advertising" scam after telling property owners that they have an actual buyer and an offer for their property.

Below, is my original write up posted under 727-563-6792, the complete url for that page is: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-727-563-6792/3#

Got a similar call today from Global Properties using 727-230-6675 as a call-back number to my home in the PNW about my property in Brunswick County, NC. Just as with Indigo above, they told me that they had a buyer for my property at about 15K more than the assessed value. I have not advertised or listed the property since I bought it years ago. They made the same pitch for the $500 deposit. Very smooth. Stalled off the agent and then found this forum. No question in my mind that this is a full bore scam. I will be contacting the NC Attorney General in the morning.
