got a call

I keep getting a call from this number and when I return the call the number doesnt work.

Received four calls in the last five days from that number, even though my phone number is on the national do not call list.  I recently changed to a cell phone that lets me block all future calls from that number.  Bye bye, obnoxious telemarketing scum.

Call on my cell phone asking for a Vincent Gonzalez. Told them they had the wrong number.

THIS COMPANY HAS CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES ASKING FOR A PERSON THAT DOES NOT EXIST....I HAVE HAD MY NUMBER FOR 14 YEARS NOW.  NO ONE BY THE NAME THEY ARE ASKING FOR. i HAVE ASKED THEM TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST 3X NOW. THIS IS THE COMPANY THAT IS CALLING....

I got several calls from this number and when I answer the phone, no one is there or I hear a "click" like a hang up.  When I call back, there is a message that the number is not in service.  Working in accting field for over 30 years, I tried to call back on a number one digit off (1742) and was connected to a refinance/modification company.  When I explained the number of calls and no answers, he denied that it was his company that was calling.  I told him that working in this field, most companies have multiple lines and those lines normally are one digit off, hence 1743, 1742, ect.....and that was why I called the 1742 number....He told me he would take me off their calling list.  I said its not THAT easy...I told him that if  I get another call from the 1743 number, I would contact the Hudson, FL police dept.  as that is the id that pops up every time I get called from the 1743 number!  He was most eager to at that time to remove my number from his calling list and apologized to me for the "inconveniences"!

They have been calling me every hour too.I've called back and got the same disconnected message also.. I'm just gonna block them through my cell phone carrier.

I've been getting a call at least every hour on the hour for the last 2 days from this company/person.  No one is on the other end of the phone and no message.  I can hear whoever it is hang up and there is no conversation whatsoever.  I'm sick of these prank calls.....the caller id states its from Hudson, FL.  I've reported this number to the Nat'l Do Not Call Listing which, in my opinion, is a waste of time as I have never heard of them doing anything about these type of calls.  Also, when I call the number back, there is a message that states this number is disconnected or not in service.

It would be nice if these scammers would quit bothering people on their personal phones.  Too bad there isn't a law controlling these jerks.
