Call 4 or 5 times a day

These people called me on my cell phone which I have no idea how the even got the number for.  It was in the middle of finals week and I should've known better but I gave them my information because we were planning a trip to vegas and $400 in airline vouchers sounded great!  Well, they tricked me w/ the number of offers because the third one they send you is for THEIR OWN COMPANY!! so you end up screwed when you get the fourth thing and ignore it.  Additionally, they were sending the things to my parents house (where I don't live because I am in college).

Yesterday, I realized that my account had gotten charged from some random phone company.  I called the phone company and demanded my money back and to know who they got my information from.  They told me they couldn't do that and I would have to write a letter because they had no phone number...are you kidding me?!

So I went through my cell phone call log and googled every unknown number I had until I got a hit for this site and learned about this HUGE scam.

I called back and THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF ME!!!!

I will be going to the bank to change all of my information.  When they called, they already had my social security number and my bank routing number...all they needed was my confirmation that it was correct.  I'm such an idiot!!

Because of these a***oles I can't afford to pay my rent this month because of all the money that got taken out of my account from these "free" offers

Just called the Miami Task Force after "Variety" called me. The telemarketer had not yet asked for my bank account number, but just to inform me about the presumed vouchers arriving in the mail. I presume I'll hear more from them soon.

The agent says he knows about these losers really well and they are being investigated. I was also told to make sure my phone number is listed on the Do Not Call Registry -- then should go away after 30 days.

These people are STALKERS. They keep calling my phone. I  do not answer. If it were THAT important, you'd think that they would leave a message. But they never do. I spoke to them ONCE when they calle the first time. I told them I Was going out the door, which I really was, and had no time to converse. He said it would only take 5 minutes. I at which point I got rude and said NO, and haung up on him. Anyone who cannot respect you schedule is not worth your time.

they called about twice as of now..i've gotten calls like this before but not from 17272520436. i don't know what this is but be weary.

I get the same type of calls from this number 1-727-252-0436.

Since no one has said what they did before they got these calls, we are missing a bunch of needed information. That info should be included with each post. I ordered two items on line. Hence, now I get these calls. Since I think I have a very secure connection, I believe either the company I ordered from, or a very shifting employee, sold my number. I can?t believe it?s totally random.

Time to change the number again...

I got a call regarding a checking account.  I do not even have a checking account

I get calls from this number constantly, about 5 times a day on my cell phone! The calls start coming in around 8:00 am and continue through out the day until about 6:30pm. I have never answered one of these calls, so I do not know who is calling me.

These people ALREADY HAD my bank account number before I ever answered one of their calls as well.

In other words, YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS MAY HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM A DATABASE, likely by an experienced hacker. You may need to have your account number changed!

You need to report them to the *****U.S. Secret Service****. The job of investigating telemarketing fraud and theft of financial account information is now theirs. Call the Secret Service during business hours to report or send an email to the Secret Service Miami Task Force. These people are calling out of Florida.

You can also report them to the FTC, but they do not investigate individual complaints.

These people have no products or services to offer. It is all fake. If anyone says otherwise, it's someone working for their company.

At least in my case, they already had my bank account number and personal information before I ever answered the phone. It was STOLEN. These people are CROOKS. They will try to trick you into agreeing to debit your account; if that fails, they may just edit the phone conversation with a computer to make it sound as if you DID agree.

You need to report them to the Secret Service:

Include your name, address, telephone number and complete report of what happened.

Or call your local branch during business hours.

They call my cell and my home phone within seconds of each other.  there should be a law against this.  The are both hang-ups.  They should be reported!

A women called me from this number and I couldnt understand a word she said. So I called back and a man answered. He knew my name, address and phone number. He had told me I won 500 dollars worth of vouchers. I did not accept. He wanted my bank name and account number. He said the vouchers would still be good even if i didnt continue with there program. I told him i didnt want any part in there sales. He said i will get the vouchers anyways and could use them and cancel before 14 days. If not i would be charged 20 dollars a month and a 40 dollar downpayment. This is crazy!!

called my house 21 times and whenever i answer they hang up!!! VERY ANNOYING!!!

Repeatedly calls, either no one answers or a voice recording and then a hang up.....Seems like a scam to get your bank account info.....

this phone number keeps coming up on my caller id. i never answer because i don't recognize the number. it's very annoying and they are using my phone minutes!!

They keep callin my cell phone. Since I don't recognize this number and I just cancell the call every time....... but really annoying!

A gentleman stated he was from a company called Variety. I won a $100 free gas voucher, and $400 travel voucher. The company provides discount books. I was to get gifts if I accepte provided I gave them my bank name, routing # and account # for verification.

This number is calling me repeatedly and then hangs up..

The caller ID shows up as Variety. They never say anything. This has been going on for about 3 days now approx. 4-5 times per day. So finally I've had it and called the number back. It takes you to an automated message that says you've won free gifts, to accept press 1 to decline press 2. i pressed 2. it then takes you to another menu that confirms your phone number and asks if it is correct, 1 for yes 2 for no. pressed 1 this time. then says our phone number will be removed from their calling list within 24 hours. we'll see if it actually works.
