I ran a sting operation to find out who was behind this.  I pressed one and setup an appointment.  The person they sent didn't have any ID, but he was frightened enough by my video camera and questions that he agreed to give me some information.  The company he represented is:

They also call from 727-254-3985, 727-251-4566 and 727-251-6604. I played their game and pressed 1 to talk to an associate and they answered the phone saying they are "Power Savers Associates". Caller ID just shows "unknown name" with the number.

I, too received several calls a day from 727-254-3647, and I did not answer as I don't answer when I do not recognize the number, so I reverse traced the call and got the name "Pamela Nuzum".  I then called the number to ask why they are calling me and I continually got a recording: "Leave a voice mail for 727-254-3647. Mail box full." So I gave up.  But now, I am having trouble with VirginMobile posting a top up phone card PIN number to my cell phone and the company tells me that the PIN number is blocked.  They cannot seem to figure out what is going on, and I am wondering if  by calling the Nuzum number, that they accessed my cell phone account through my cell phone number and intercepted the phone card minute pack and now I'm out $30.00 on my VISA card.  It's just a theory. What is going on???. Don't feel bad, guys, I'm an attorney and this is scary.  My mother called the 254 number from her cell phone and noticed an extra $15.00 phone charge on her Discover card.

I filed a violation to the FCC.  What they are doing is illegal and the FCC can prosecute them if they are found in violation.  I get as much information as I can on each call and always ask to "be put on their Do Not Call" list.  I get the same responses as those described above.  
    I work out of the home and do not need any added phone calls.  If there is a way that we can put an end to this, I would be very happy.  
    If everybody files complaints with the FCC, we can help stop them.  Thanks for everyone's efforts to bring an end to this annoyance.  

And to the guy who played porn on the phone...kudo!  That's funny.

Porn worked.  They called me two to three times a day every day, now it's been two days with nothing.

Yep, they call everyday, sometimes 3 - 4 times a day.  Same people.
I would love to pay them a visit... or better yet,  maybe I'll have them come to me.

Towards the end of the recording it asks you to push 1 to talk to a live person.  I tried asking them to quit calling and got laughed at so for the past couple of days I've just pressed one and sat the phone down.  They are quite persistent, listening to them ask 'Hello?  Hello?' for a while is quite entertaining, but I must say, it loses its appeal after a while.  If you press any other key the recording will start over.  I used this technique today to buy enough time to get a porn streaming before pressing one and just sitting the phone in front of the speaker.  Not sure what I'll do next, but I think it's time everybody got creative and started tying up their actual people's time instead of letting the recording cut labor costs.  We may as well have fun with these people, they obviously aren't going to stop.

These annoying pre-recorded messages come everyday on my cell phone-- $3,900 in government money from a home energy check.  They come from many different phone numbers, even different area codes from around the country!  The last few days it is this number 727-254-3647.  Lets shut these people down!

I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General. I have been receiving these calls for weeks now on a daily basis. A week ago I did hold on to reach an operator - and asked to be removed from their auto-dialer - they said they would - however, as of today the calls keep coming.

These idiots are relentless!!! Every day... repeatedly from similar numbers. Logged on to Verizon's website (since it's a local #) and searched the number. Naturally the number is unlisted, BUT, it does show that is is a land line and it is located on South side of Cleveland Street just East of Ft. Harrison according to the map they provide. These people better knock it off before someone pays them a nasty visit!!!

They also call from 727-251-4566 and 727-251-6604 as well as the 727-254-3647

I keep getting REPEATED recorded calls here in Tampa...and in Florida the law prohibits recorded telemarketing calls.  There doesn't appear to be a way to ask them to take you off the list.  I am registered on the Federal Do Not Call list but apparently they do not adhere to that list.  I just did a 5-year renewal on the Florida Do Not Call list but there is a break of service since Florida makes you pay while theFederal Do Not Call is at no cost to the public.

I got so pissed off at the daily phone calls from these b*****ds that it drove me to research on them on the internet.  The results of that research brought me here where I have discovered several others experiencing the same harassment as me.  Finally after repeated calls I pressed one to speak with someone.  I calmly told them that I am sick of their repeated phone calls and to please take me off the list.  The guy on the other end informed me that they were going to continue to try and "qualify" me.  I interrupted his pitch and told him to take me off the damn list.  He then hung up on me..... and the calls keep coming.

I asked them to take my name off the list and the lady laughed and said since they're "not selling anything" they aren't doing anything wrong by calling someone on the do not call list and she assured me that I would continue to get calls.  I asked her for her home number so that I could call her daily and not sell her anything and she laughed again.  I've reported this number to the DNC site three times just this week.
