Read all the comments about this company. Just received a letter too and never took out any kind of loan with this company. Something's needs to be done to stop these stupid fools. I work hard,I don't have the time to deal with these stuip people. I had a gut feeling that this was a scam. Going to file a complaint. Every one who received these letters need to do the same thing. Maybe a bunch loads of complaints just might catch some of these fools.

I too just received the same letter from Asset Retention Services, LLC. Client name BMG-JHS Marketing. I can't believe after all the scam phone calls I have received in the last 2-years they are now sending phony debt collection letters! Can you believe this! When do these people give up I've filed reports with the FTC a number of times, and have also written the Attorney General's office. We should all file a class action law suit against these idiots, and sue for emotional damages! One thing for sure is they are very, very, persistent pests. The FTC says they will eventually stop when you don't fall for the scam. I'm still waiting. Now they have the nerve to invade our privacy with fraudulent scam letters! I check my credit report often and it just keeps getting higher, there is no debts showing on it that or owed, or delinquent. These people are something else! Some innocent victims are really going to get  hurt by these scammers and they won't even know what hit them! If this isn't becoming a national disaster I don't know what is!

I received that letter too. They are not licensed with the state, they do not have a bond, they are not licensed with St. Petersburg, or with Fla SOS. A ciminalcomplaint hasbeen filed with Florida attorney General, US Postal (mail fraud), SOS, BBB. FBI is next. This location is.a virtual office. I urge everyone to file complaints with the foregoing. This is a scam.

Received a letter from Asset Retention Services, claiming I took out a loan from BMG-Lazer Lending.  I have never done business with this company nor have any past due debts.  Called the number and spoke to a Mike Thomas, who gave me the address of:

Asset Retention LLC
970 Lake Carlton Drive, Suite 300
Saint Petersburg, FL 33716

and a fax number of 888- 263-3519.  When I informed him I would be sending a debt validation request, he stated that I would have the required court paperwork by that time and hung up.  Sounds like a scam to me.

This a scam of the worst kind.  Now they are sending letters.  I don't understand why these idiots are not caught and put under the jail.  I called the number twice within five minutes and the same rude idiot b---h answered the phone.  I did not verify anything at and she hung up on me!! and had the nerve to tell me not to call her phone!!  Ooh, I wanted to jump through the phone.  I can't wait until they are caught, which can't be soon enough for me.

Thanks for posting this information. If it looks like a dead fish, and smells like a dead fish, it is probably another dead fish. These are pathetic human beings with nothing better to do. They say that my loan was from loan.com????? Someone, please stop these idiots!!! For now, remain paranoid and do not disclose any of your personal information to anyone (email or via phone). Also, don't answer any calls from unknown numbers and if they don't leave a message, it is probably a scam. Finally, block the call and file your complaint on the LEGITIMATE IC3 website...http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

Yea, they sent me a letter too. I guess after repeated phone calls that I intentionally  ignore they decides that they better figure out something else. I am wondering if these people have any type of life or just any self respect cause if they did they would spend their time a little wiser. They are seriously some of the world most stupid criminals.

Asset recovery llc. Another day... Another scam. They are now sending letters regarding an internet loan. First of all, their return address is a California address but there contact number is in Florida. I did not take out any loan and I have been receiving mainly calls from several different people trying to say that I owe for a nonexistent loan. Uughh!! I just wish federal and state agencies would do a better job protecting consumers from these relentless scams.. It's gotten old and something needs to be done soon.. Don't respond to these fools and continue to file ur complaints and something will be done to stop this nonsense once and for all.
