Just received a call from this number as well. Due to unknown area code I just do like with the others. I give them an answer / hang-up real quick just so they don't get to waste voicemail with a blank message. Then there number goes on the block list along with the others. People say it is about credit cards..That is funny because I do not own any RFID CHIP / Credit Cards.

These are criminals who hijack fake phone numbers and Caller ID info!  Don't be stupid.  Do not call list can do nothing, as it's not a real number!  You should report date and time and number to FBI, however, as they are the ones that investigate this.  Sometimes they round up a bunch of them, as just happened in countries all over the world!  We should have death penalty for these scumbags!  The other ONLY thing you can do is NEVER pick up the phone when you do not recognize the number.  I have a "white-list" system, that only accepts incoming calls that I have already approved!  Everything else is blocked.  It's all 100% foreign scams.

Just got a call a few minutes ago. I'm in debt settlement, and I have zero credit cards.

"Jennifer" from "Consumer Services". I hung up before I could hear the same old BS pitch for lowering interest rates. I didn't speak or press a button so hopefully it didn't register me as a human answering... blocked the number afterwards for all the good that will do...

A nuisance call offering to lower interest rate on my credit card.  Offers to connect with a rep by selecting #1 or to take my name off by selecting #3.  Don't call me.  I'll call you when I want to talk.  Your calls are unsolicited and currently unwanted!

Just send them into a fax machine without paper (get a cheap one) and your problems will be over!
Since the messages are automated, it does not pay to answer the phone. They think they are smart hiding behind the technology but a low-tech solution waits for them next time they call my #.

And if u had half a brain half these companies are in the state there number shows up as its a computer generated non working number just cause it shows a florida area code doesn't mean it's from florida,people are just ignorant

If you are lucky and have phone service with Comcast like I do here is a fun way to jack with these kinds of companies. Comcast's phone system allows you to block up to 12 phone numbers also blocks all anonymous phone calls, block all overseas phone numbers and the one I love it allows you to forward up to 12 regular phone calls (not 800 or 866 etc...) to another phone number.  I find legitimate phone numbers for these type of companies (the repeat offenders)  and forward all the calls I don't want to the legitimate phone numbers of companies that are repeat offenders and block up their incoming phone lines with similar garbage phone calls. I only wish Comcast would increase the amount of numbers you can block and forward.

DNC listed for 9+ years.. Two one ring calls today, just seconds apart..  thanks to 800 notes they are now in my block list..

They called before on different numbers, most of the time the just hang up and never, Never leave a message. unknown name on my caller ID already alerts me anyway, SCAM in progress. We do need more laws to catch and fine these crooks, and when found 20 years in jail is a mild sentence.

Caller id shows call originated from Clearwater, Florida.  Didn't answer.  Would spend all day answering these type of calls.

Another scam lower interest rate call. They used 727-269-5708 this time.

I don't know nor do I want to know who these people are (or who this company is). They call my fax machine which only answers fax calls after multiple rings. If they want to keep doing that, that's OK by me. I have my ringer on this fax machine turned off, so I never even hear the ring. They always hang up before the fax machine component  kicks in.

This is Rachel and the gang doing business as usual, it is almost comical now, a game of hide and seek, whenever you block all thier numbers some moron sells them yet another spoofed number.

I do not know why these internet places are allowed to continue selling information that blocks an individual from calling our private phones, does the "Freedom of information act" protect us as well, arent we allowed to know whom is calling and what thier business is?

I know it is difficult to track these fools that call us, but how difficult is it to close down an internet business that provides clients with illegal phone numbers?

Since there is no "call type" for scam I will classify them as telemarketers.

Every time I block one number for these scumsuckers, they switch to another one.  Honestly!  If I want to lower my credit card rates I'll call my credit card company myself!  How dumb do these people think we are?

Called and wanted to lower credit cards...said cellular call. They keep calling and use different numbers.

I filed a complaint with the Do Not call registry as my number has been on it for years, if they do not Stop these unwanted calls they are fraudulently advertising a DO NOT Call Registry!

Telemarketer wanting to lower credit card rates - then asked for number of the credit card!

I was not at home when this call came through, but caller ID said CLEARWATER, FL and the number.  I know no one in Florida and would not have answered it even if I had been home.  I never answer any calls from a location, area code, person, or organization that I don't recognize as someone I know.

Being on the National Do Not Call registry is a waste of time because no one in the government is doing anything to stop these callers.

On the DNC list. Two one ring calls from this number in two minutes on my landline. Irritating.
