I keep getting these calls and when I answer I get the fax machine tone.  

Several times a day they call and hang up.

Called for my deceased grandmother asking her to renew a magazine subscription.

You'd think if these people did business with her at one point, they'd be aware she passed eight years ago. SMH

I live in the same area code and think I worked for them for 10 days. They are shady. Wish I had kept the script because it was hinkey. Those who were successful in meeting sales quotas lied like nobody's business. In a word, a nightmare. I don't answer calls with no caller ID.

The phone rings and when I don't answer it leaves a very loud sound on my message machine, no message.

Called about my subscription to Country magazine. Girl said my rate was going to$54 tomorrow. She said she had the first number for my credit card and wanted me to give her the rest of the number. I told her that I had never paid with a credit card. I then told that l was not renewing the subscription and to not call me again. This was the third call over about six weeks..same spiel. Why are folks not  better protect ed from such. It's clearly an attempt to get our credit card information.

call advising me that mag subscript had expired and wanted to know if i wanted to renew. told them no and hung up

If the address of the call center or the location of the school where the caller's children go, I bet these thieves can be stopped :)

This number called about my Readers Digest subscription, said that RD was raising it's rate to $59 a year, and that I could lock in a $29 rate for four years.  I asked who she was with, and she said she was calling about my RD subscription, but when I said "but Who are you With?". I was told that she was with the subscription department of the Readers Digest." The rates quoted for subscription were more like one would pay at the newsstand.

We get several calls a day from this same place The Readers Dir.  Started answering and like everyone else there is no one on the line.  Our number has been on the Do Not Call registry since the beginning and I update everytime it's due, but guess that's useless as they still continue to call only from a different number.  Fed up!  Thank God for caller ID

Getting daily calls from this number lately. ID says THE READERS DIR.

I don't understand the complete number... v51810552800000 727-286-8912, not sure what the first part of that number means. I answered and a lady with a slight accent answered, knew my name and address! Asked if I was still receiving Reader's Digest. I answered Not subscribed, she then asked if I was receiving USA Today again I said I don't receive anything, too busy to read, and not interested in anything. She said OK and thank you for your time. She got off the line too easy, I think she was just confirming my address and name, probably going to sell that info to other phone solicitors. I'm on the DoNotCall.org list. They get around that by stating it's a legitimate call.

The Readers Dir calls daily.  They are harassing!   I would never order another Reader's Digest subscription from them if this is their way they doing business.  They never leave a message and when I return the call I get a fax machine noise.  Am complaining to FCC.

The Readers Dir, whoever that is. They keep calling and calling and calling; had to add them to my call block list.

Called, no human - no response to "hello" from me.

If I answer they start conversation with "We are calling about your Reader's Digest Subscription" I have never subscribed to Reader's digest and now will never.T6W8

If these are the "Readers Dir" folks, they are now disguising their Caller ID.  It now just says Out of Area.  I wish they would just bugger off.  They are just annoying as hell.

This number calls our home every day and does not leave a message. I do not answer.   I tried to call back to have our number removed from their call list, but I get a fax machine sound.  "The Readers Direct" shows on the caller ID.  I am going to report this as a harassment call, since it is daily.

They call daily. No message left. Not going to answer so maybe eventually they will stop calling.

Did not answer - calls everyday.

Showed up as The Readers Dir    did not know people, did not answer, best to treat unknowns?
