I too got a phone call with the same message of doing a routine security check.  I spoke to Langley Federal Credit Union directly and they said no one from their security department has made any phone calls for my account.  LFCU's security dept is going to investigate these numbers to see why I received this call.  They said I did the right thing by contacting LFCU and not returning the 800-number's call.

I've also verified that this call came from PSCU, a card processor, to verify recent activity.  It's legit.

The caller is the fraud department for PSCU Financial Services.  PSCU provides credit and debit card processing and fraud services to over 500 credit unions in the US.

Their fraud department provides activity monitoring services and will contact cardholders on behalf of the credit union to verify suspicious activity.

Called on "behalf of Langley Federal CU" as a routine security check to verify some charges on my debit/credit card.  Also left toll free * 888 918 7313.

The number belongs to a credit union "Addison Avenue". It's their fraud department.
