Got a call from "Officer Down" organization wanting a Mastercard donation of $25, $35, or $50 in exchange for a "supporter's decal".  Not likely a real police organization - their website looks bogus too.  The email on their site is a gmail address, not a .org like most legitimate organizations.

This is from Officer Down Foundation. I find it interesting I am getting hang up calls from them and at this tome a local Police Officer in my city--- I have his sister up on stalking and harrassment charges. How Ironic

I got a call yesterday   # 727 447-3906 ..thanks to who ever posted this.... They left no message, now I know not to answer it at all.

My mom received call from 727 447 3906 stating officer and advised him what this was for and he stated never mind and hung up.

I did not answer because I recall hearing stories about "officer down" calls.  The CID number is 7274473906, and reads Officer Down FO

I got call today from a officer down, interesting part to this its an unlisted number, they then rang my daughters phone with same .  I suggest to do what I plan to do.....contact your local law enforcement asap also inform phone company, Iam here in North Carolina  how did the get my or my daughters numbers?

Just got a call from the above number and asked for my spouse. When I said if I could take a message he was just discourteous and dropped the phone. The ID read same Officer Down.

That's what I found. Dialed the number; it's unlisted in Clearwater, Florida. The name is Officer Down Foundation, but the bbb has no record of that number.

no need to call my home number again,you are a fraud and i suggest you stop calling my home..I am very good at getting people like you reported.The person you called does not have her name on the phone number at all..It is my phone number.

(727) 447-3906 called early this afternoon and ID'd himself as representing some foundation. He said it so fast I didn't get the name, then I hung up after saying it was a bad connection.

Phone said Officer Smith, didn't answer

I have received  a few calls from this number in the last month. they never leave a message. The caller ID says "Officer Down  Fo. It worried me at first thought maybe something had happened to my adult child....After calming down ...if it was actually the police department it would have the city i live in on the caller id as well....thats when i figured it was a scam !!!...my question is "How do i get them to stop calling my number?"

The Pitt County Sheriff's office in NC investigated this number after I received a call from it and found it was a legitimate number. Thought others might like to know. I know I was relieved to know my number wasn't on a scammer's list!

He called this afternoon with the same officerdownfo....down for all of us if we take call! Someone should look into this, and report it as abusive call.

a call from someone who said he represented fallen officers foundation . I asked him if he was a law enforcement officer,he said no. I immediately said good-bye and googled the organization up and found out that they are a rip off.Apparently they have sub. groups all over the country. If you wish to donate money ;time or anything else of value,do it where you live and help those closest to you. Thanks easteagle.

got a call from this number on June 6. Caught my attention cuz it said Officer Down Fo. so i thought id do some research. Glad i used my better judgement b4 callin bak. my next step....*block* Thank all of u 4 ur post!

I called them back and I said, "DADDY? DADDY?" Haha suckerssss.

Now, they are using another name; but they are the same as 216 #.  HOW CAN WE STOP THEM ?

Just had a call from this OfficerDownFo and waited for the machine to get it before I answered.  They did not leave a message but hung up instead.. What is going on with this stuff?  Im on the register for DONOTCALL list, isnt it working anymore,, Such a shame to pretend to be one of our protectors.. Sure wish the REAL Officers could do something about this number..
