caller called and said they were from watchdog trying to enroll me in their 30/day free membership.  they had my name and address, i asked how they got my number, they said visa gave it to them, i hung up.

called and said I won a watch and am in the "Publisher Clearing House Pool"

This number constantly calls my phone when i called back got hung up on several times it is a scam to get your identity they try saying they are from ID Watch Card which does not exist! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THIS NUMBER.

They call 2-3 times a day - I keep asking them to take me off their list but they keep calling back - I am highly frustrated at this point.  I don't need the aggrevation.

I got a call from this number this morning.  When i said hello a digital voice responded "GOODBYE". The point behind the call, who knows. WTF

today I did not answer this call, just couple minutes ago my phone rang. But reading the comment from Rissa sounds like the same call I got yesterday from another number 4029021014. I have reported that number too. Totally, I am not stupid and I am not giving my personal information to anyone. Scammers, you will burn in hell for trying to play stupid with us!

They didn't leave a message,about 4 min. later I received a text saying : "000000 ,please reply to this message ,message X19 as you're selected for free identity theft trail for 60 days" or sent NO to prompt out of this , so I entered NO ,and a month later my phone company sent me a bill for $29.95 ,which I had to take to small claims court to settle. ................ if you receive a text message ,just delete it immediately.

ID Theft protection company, forgot the name.

Just answer the call and politely disagree with them about what ID theft really is, ask how they are going to protect you, ask them what they are wearing, etc for long enough that they finally realize you are simply wasting their time and running up their phone bill.  They will eventually end the call abruptly with a "You have a nice day sir."  I'm guessing they will take you off the list without your even requesting it.

If you have a teenager, you should teach them how to handle all your telemarketing calls in this manner, they will enjoy it, and they have plenty of time to spare.

I am almost certain the calls from this number and others with the same area code are a SCAM.This # and others from the 727 area code have been calling my cell over and over again sometimes 5 times a day for about a month now. 2 weeks ago I finally decided to answer, some guy said I was selected for a million dollar sweepstakes for Visa, Mastercard, or Discover cardholders. I said that's odd because I don't own any credit cards he said thank you for your time and hung up real quick. Just got another call from the same number today and it was a woman saying I won a free 30 day identity theft trial for Visa or Mastercard holders. I said oh are you sure it's not a million dollar sweepstakes like last time I got a call from this number and it's funny considering I don't own any credit cards. She said well surely you have a Visa bank debit card. I said forget it lady I'm not stupid and won't be giving you any of my information because for all I know YOU are an identity thief so you need to take me off the calling list before I report you people for harassment.

i have gotten several calls from this number on my cell phone. The voicemail i recieved was just a bunch of background noise and people talking. Nothing was said directly to my voicemail. I've blocked the number on my phone to keep them from calling, but apparently they found a way around it and are still calling me. Its highly annoying. I don't even know how these people get our numbers.

I keep receiving phone calls on my cell phone from 727 area codes, or Clearwater, Florida!  They are trying to solicit information from me!

I got a call from this number today.  When I answered, they tried to tell me I was selected to "recieve free identity theft protection!"  I said, "yes, and last time you called  me from this number, you told me I won 10,000.00!!"  She then replied, "I will be happy to take you off of our call list!"  I doubt this will happen, but I remain hopeful!!  DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU SEE THIS NUMBER COME UP!!!!  Or, any "727" exchange, or area code from Clearwater, Florida!!

received a call from 727-451-2948 didn't answer. left a voice mail only saying my name.

Just got a call from them saying I won a 30-day trial period of ID protection. I hung up on them in the middle of the pitch.
If I hung up the past times they've called with the 727 number, what makes them think I want their stuff?

How do you get off this list?  The 727-451-2948 number keeps calling my cell phone.

I'M SICK TO DEATH OF THESE PEOPLE HARRASSING ME! The one time that I actually spoke to these people, I told them to put me on the "Do Not Call" roster or take me off of theirs, and though I started off being nice and calm about it, I ended up cursing them out and hanging up on them because they just ignored my request and continued with their sales pitch.  I then put an app on my phone to block the number but they continue to call from other numbers. I will just continue to not answer ANY number from the 727 area code and then block that number as well. I put my number on the National "do not call" registry so we'll see how that goes. Not gonna hold my breathe though!

Got a call this morning and I called the number back and said my wait time was 45 seconds. I waited more like five minutes then automated came on line saying ext 000000 was not available plse leave a message. What a joke.....how can I block this number from ever calling my cell phone again! Better yet how did they even get my cell phone number in the first place to call me?????

called to sign up for identity theft program, with a 30 free trial, then after it is $19.99. She keep trying to get my info. I so no and she hung up on me. Apparently she's not part of a company cause she did not say have a nice day or anything. she might be the one trying to steal your identity!
