This number continues to call my cell. The claim that one of my credit cards was selected and won $150 of free Gas and other added bonuses. All I need to do is accept the offer and do a free trial period for some service.
Even after telling them I am not interested, they insist. I had to get strong with them and tell them about the BS tricks they are doing, and how they just mess up people's credit. I will state politely on this post, how I told them not to call me again, but I just received another call, a few minutes ago.
They really do need to stop before someone goes postal.

Called claiming to direct me to a buyer for vacant land I own in Florida. When I asked for a written offer to be sent through the mail they slammed the phone in my ear.

Rishi 2011-06-06 20:56:00 Unknown
THis number - 727-474-0534 calls me 3 times a day. When I say hello, it does not say anything. Infact in last 2-3 weeks I have gotten called from this number 3 times a day without fail. No body speaks up. If i dont pick, it goes to my VM creating a new voice message but even that is blank.
Not sure what to do. I am not sure if my provider can do anything.

This company is a Biiiiig Scam. They are one of those companies who get your personal information from a third party and try to solicite you with a facade of free gifts. They have your personal information but can't do anything with it until you confirm your identity. Once you confirm your identity they will conviently charge your credit/debit cards with fees for the free items they are trying to send you. When and if they call again deny who you are and tell them they have contacted the wrong person or tell them that the credit card they are refering to has be cancelled. I had been receiving calls from them everyday multiple times a day. I spoke to a supervisor who was a complete douche. He told me his name was john in the begining of the conversation and by the end of the conversation he said that I had been transfered to a different supervisor and his name was Christoper Robin. There was never a pause in the conversation for me to be transfered. This company has lying scammers as employees. Don't fall victim.

getting multiple calls daily, either yelling in foriegn language, silence or snarky laughter. I made FCC complaint as well, not trying to determine if I can block this number

I finally got this company to stop calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had been calling me for weeks everyday and all day. I had requested several times to be put on a do not call list and my request was completely ignored. I had a brilliant idea one week ago when i received the last phone call from them. When they asked for me by name I told them in a very sad voice "sorry but she's no longer here with us, who's calling". The person on the phone apologized for my loss then asked if there was a secondary person authorized to use the card and I told them there wasn't. He said okay and apologized again for my loss and hung up and NEVER called me again. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting calls from 727-474-0534.
they claim is about some rewards program, I keep telling them I'm not interested and to stop calling me.
they say there is no do not call list for their 'service'.
when I pushed to talk to the supervisor he said he was the supervisor.
when I asked to speak to whomever he reports to, he said there's a phoenix office. I asked for his name and the number of the phoenix office, and who he speaks to over there.
the guy hung up on me.

I keep receiving calls from this number and I haven't been picking up but the reason why they are calling is because my boyfriend and I recently completed a time share presentation to get a deal for our hotel. I knew they would be calling me later so I just ignore it. It's usually about once or twice a week so not enough for me to be frustrated. I recognize the number so I don't pick up. You guys should probably look at what you signed up for recently, some companies sell your information (unfortunately) and you should deal with that company directly not the people who call you, they are just doing their job and trying to put food on the table.

number and they wont stop calling so I decided to talk to them and they told me that they were going to give me gift card from target, the asked me to verify my address and the last 4 on my card, so I listened to what they had to say and when I asked for them to repeat what they said, because I couldn?t understand a word, they just kept saying "is that a yes" so I hung up, called my bank and canceled my card.
robin 2010-03-31 21:43:55 Unknown
that is what they tried to do with me..... after they said my last four ( i know that the last four do show up on receipts) i let them have an earful and hung up..........

This phone number has called me every day for the past week, and by noon today had called twice. I've never answered because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but from reading a LOT of other stories, I'm glad i haven't. I blocked the number.

They are calling me numerous times a day as well. When I first got a call from this number I looked it up and found out there are many people getting these same calls and they are very rude. So when they called me today I did not confirm or deny my name I just advised that I would report this number to the BBB and she said she will call later. I could not believe it. I will be getting in touch with somebody if they call me back.
concerned 2010-03-24 23:04:50 Unknown
did they say anything to you? these people didn't ask for my account number, rather they repeated my address over the phone and asked me to confirm it....should i be worried?

I have gotten calls from same number a number of times per week. I have Ooma phone service which you pay a one-time fee for the phone and you need either broadband or DSL service to use this phone. One of the best things about this phone service, is they have a blocking the numbers you set up yourself online. Once you block that number, it can't bother you forever. You can either get a new phone number from Ooma, or port your present number to Ooma for one time fee. This calling service is a blessing, you don't ever get another phone bill from Ooma. It is a lifetime phone service. See it at http://www.ooma.com/
