Caller asked for someome who was out of town.  Said they could help reduce electric bills. They are calling from FL over 1200 miles from where we are located. Sounds like it could be a scam.  Beware.

You received a legitimate call from Consumer Energy Solutions, which is a company that calls into 14 energy deregulated states to help save customers on their electric bills.

Call came in from this number and I answered.  I did not recognize the number but I just gotmy new phone number and keep getting calls for the previous owner.  The best way I have found to deal with this is to answer and let people know that they now have a wrong phone number.  The person on the other end disconnected as soon as they heard my voice.  I googled it and came up with the name of a man named Don King in Clearwater, FL.  Wish they would leave me alone!

Then tell the idiots to act professionally, Mr king.

Find out who it is for sure next time.  I verified that the number of mine which keeps getting these calls is active on the national Do Not Call list.  When you find out who it is, report them.  Here's hoping they get fined enough to pay all of our damned electric bills for life.

They called 4 times in a row...once we answered and hung up-call came in at 12:36, the second time we let the voicemail get it-12:37, the 3rd time we answered listened to their intro (the guys name was Jonathan) and then asked did it sound like a phone hanging up-12:48, they called back a 4th time-the person burped in my ear*-12:50, then said "oh, excuse me-could I please speak to the person that is in charge of the electric bill and when I told him they had already called three times in a row-he said he had only called once.  I told him who was in charge and told him to call back later....VERY rude-even if they aren't a scam I wouldn't give them my business if they were the last electric company to chose from!

Agreed, probably a scam. Number blocked.
