Contacted GE Capital Bank.  They are not connected with this number.  It is a scam.  If you receive calls from this number, report the incident to the better business bureau and contact GE Capital Bank to make them aware of those who are using their name to defraud people.  

GE Capital Bank.  Called my stepson's phone 16 times in one day.   Was repeatedly told they had a wrong number and that they were contacting a minor.  I repeatedly asked what company they were calling from and they finally told me after 6 requests (and I was becoming rather terse at that point).  They wanted my personal information when I asked them never to call this number again.  I hung up on them after I finally got the company name.  They then repeatedly called the number 6 or 7 more times after I hung up on them.  

Got 2 messages on my office telephone, one at noon and the other after hours.  I did not request any kiind of loan, and both times the message states that "the loan has been approved and ready to be deposited into my bank account".  Do they really think that I would give someone my bank account information over the telephone.  SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.  No legitimate lender is going to loan you money over the phone.

I too had Robert Decosta call me, saying I was approved for a 2000 loan but first I needed to go to Walmart and have 120 loaded on to it.  I did it one time, but then he called me back saying that because of my credit score I needed to buy another green dot, this time loading 250 onto it and that I would get that back also. I didn't do it and he called, multiple times a day for several days.  Am I ever tired to getting these calls.  And they can't even speak English!!

Approved for a 1000 dollar loan and this "ROBERT DECOSTA" said I needed to go to CVS or Walmart load 80 dollars to a reloadable card and that I would be reimbursed that money back into my account plus the loan amount. That the charge was a loan processing fee. This jerk called me once every hour stating Mrs "Miranda, are you at walmart already? Can you give me the card information and have the money ready" THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. I'm applying for a loan because I need money and I have to give money before I get money. Sorry jack*** from another country protraying to be in the USA, your not getting any penny or dime outta me

I lost $100.00 from these idiots in hopes to getting a loan. But I've filed a police report and the vanilla reload pak is ging to refund my money and form a case. In the meantime I've got a million people calling them :}
