I was not at home at 8:20 am today when the call came in, but likely it woke my daughter up as she was house sitting until this afternoon for me, and rarely rises before 10am. Left no msg. I don't have free call blocking, so it's just another one to ignore. However, as my phone number is one # off from a local cardiologist's office, I often do pick them up, if there's a legit looking CID name, just to let them know they have misdialed. I probably would have answered this one.
I looked them up on Google and I see it's the fax number for Pain Relief Centers in Pinellas Park and also Largo, FL.

Their office Fax # is:727-518-8662
So, now I'm wondering if this is one doctor's office trying to fax another one, or if someone is spoofing that fax number to run a scam.

Date of complaint: June 25, 2014:
"Fried Charles K"/Caller ID from (727)518-8662: A Recorded message asking if your 1 on millions with back pain....blah blah blah. I made a report to "DoNotCall.gov"...and blocked caller from that phone number. When returned call to attempt to demand they stop calling...just get busy signal. Telemarketers or scammers...unknown.
DO NOT GIVE ANYTHING TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU! DO NOT EVEN CONFIRM YOUR NAME IF THEY HAVE YOUR NAME! MANY SCAMMERS ATTEMPTING TO STEAL ID OR FINANCIAL INFO OUT THERE! I'M RECEIVING AN ENORMOUS NUMBER OF TELEMARKETING CALLS IN LAST FEW MONTHS!!

Same thing as "Casey" reporter above - called twice in a row. First call disconnected after one ring, then another immediately followed with two short rings and disconnect. Not enough time for answering machine to pick up. Not sure why they bother, but I have added to them to the Call Block list on my new phone. Buh-bye, Charles K. Fried.

This was a very weird recorded message claiming to offer a free topical pain cream.
I was getting tired of the same old home security and free cruise scams all the time. Now there's a 'free topical pain cream' one to spice things up a little.
