Applied to posting on Craigslist.  Knew it was a scam.  Received a text from this number (727) 266-2988

Contacted me today asked if I was interested. He sent me an email. After reading home based and handling affairs. I just knew he was up to no good. I turned him down told him I don't mess with home based. Then he offered me a position posting the job on craigslist. So he's trying to recruit people to post. I blocked him.

I had the same person, this Aarron Thompson send the same thing to me as he did to Tom. Thompson wouldn't give any info about himself to me. It just seemed strange, completely strange. So I told him that I didn't receive his last email and that I decided to pass on his job offer. Hopefully that'll be the end of it. His number was +1 (727) 266-3992

Ya same happened to me but using a california number i talked to him on the phone he is foriegn. he hung up when.i called him out about it being fraud sent me a check for 3998 dollars just today.

I applied for a job at Franklin Cider Mills on craigslist and was contacted by email by an Aaron Thompson
(VP Human Resources). After reading the email he sent me I knew it was a scam. He states, "I need to earn your trust and be rest assure you are the right person for this position So Your first assignment is to handle payment on my behave. Our client will send a payment Check/Money Order to you via FedEx/Ups courier service. Once you received the Check/Money order, You will take it to the bank and deposited it, Deduct $3oo which is your upfront payment and forward the rest funds to our Production Manager. This is your first assignment and all I need is trust and honestly. Just make sure you handle the payment sprightly and follow the instructions given." If this is not a scam I don't know what is!

Replied to a job on CRAIGSLIST and got a random text saying it was someone from Franklin Cider Mill HR and he needed my phone number (which he obviously had because he texted me) and wouldnt answer any questions . Tried calling number, no answer.

I applied for a job on Craigslist .and have been getting texts from this person.claims hes a business owner and needs a personal assistant .when asked if he was with the Better Business Bureau .he responded I'm a hundred percent legit .he never answered any of my questions straight up .my gut feeling is that its a scam .

Texted about placing a Thirty One order, also limited texting. Wanted to order with check. Asked for email address, I plan on having him contact a local rep. Doubt he will.

Texted for a Mary Kay order. Suspicious "limited texting" asked for email, which is provided on the MK website. Stopped contact after I asked for a phone conversation.
