got this call after my car broke down..

Keep getting a call from this number but no one is there.

I see a lot of responses about it being Allstate Roadside which I don't have. I do have on star & Geico Roadside & hell some kind of roadside with my Nitrofill Tires, but my calls came in around 330 am & I assure you I WAS ASLEEP, & unless some mystery person stole my truck & went for a joyride & called roadside to tow them back home, I DIDNT CALL any of the 3 roadside that I have......I own a Roadside Business but I am inactive & not running calls so it wouldn't have been them calling either....So confused, lmao.....and sleepy.....

Got many calls last evening (2 separate towing & collections)  Very annoying.

I called Verizon and it is a Verizon home phone #, but it is not an automated phone that they use. It is a scammer. If you will notice the guy above, his name is "Willy Scamue" and he's claiming a William to be the culprit. Seems kind of fishy to me.

I called my auto insurance road side service too the same day that this call appeared, so it must be a connection to road side assistance.

Just looked up this # under whitepages.com called back got mail box is full not sure who this is or what they want  I got an unavailable then 5 min later i got a call from this #

Yep -- I also rec'd the call after using Pop-a-Lock services. But they need to identify themselves in the message!

I  just got a call from this number, when answered they hung up,  I immediately called back from a land phone and got a voice mail saying "mailbox is full"  What's the real deal on this?  Does anyone know for sure?

STOP CALLING ME - This is a fax number from All State INsurance - IRRITATING

This number keeps calling my cell phone.  I am getting really frustrated as there is never anybody on the line and when I call it back I get a message inbox saying "inbox full".

I get an annoying fax machine dialling at all hours.  And it doesn't stop!!!!!

Received call 10:45am asking me to press 1 or 2 for some type of confirmation of services just hung up the phone, googled the number and found this. I wouldn't respond to any type of call that starts out like that anyway, hope this helps.

Well, it's Verizon Roadside assistance. Evidently they also offer services for different companies as other folks have indicated. They offer to call you back at any number you give them so if y'all are getting calls without using the service, I'm guessing whoever used the service gave them your number. It could also be that they gave the service the wrong number (transposed numbers) or the service copied it wrong.

Isabel - Were they able to send you a dictionary as a consolation prize? You need it. You can't put a coherent sentence together at all.

This is Verizon Wireless. They are calling to confirm a customer's request for service. They called me a few minutes ago to confirm that my car had been towed to the shop. No big deal, people, no need to "hunt someone down" and ESPECIALLY no need to advertise someone's phone number and name on here. @Willy Scamue - that was really uncalled for and unnecessary. You have posted wrong information and have now put someones number out there by mistake. You'll be lucky if this person doesn't find you and drag you into court for defamation and harassment. Not the brightest light on the tree, are you?

100% incorrect information, the phone number 727-573-7983 is from verizon. It is a automated call they send out to confirm whatever service you called for (pop-a-lock, tow, etc.) If you didn't request these services, you might want to google verizons customer service number and let them know you are getting these calls so they can find out why your number is on the their list.

This makes sense. I called Roadside for VZW this morning for help and then I got this call back about 20 minutes after the tow guy left.

Yeah, I got a two calls from this number about 45 mins after Avis' Roadside Assistance guy unlocked my truck :^)  When I called it back, I got a fax tone.  So, it may be a service used by rental companies for roadside assistance

Yep sure enough, I called my Home and Auto Security Plan for a jumpstart for my car.  They always call back with an automated system to verify the service truck arrived, apparently this time I missed the call then forgot about expecting the return call.
