now call using 727-754-5938. Got my number from MySafe Florida inspection program but they disregard the DNC list and will call anyway. Call after you tell them not to. Call and hang-up after letting phone ring for 4 rings. And they know when they call and whether you answer or not!

Al,  it sounds like you paid 50% more then you should have !  I received a quote from them and it was 50% high compared to anyone else.... The salesman was rude, and that was in person trying to sell me on spending a lot of $

I've been flooded with these type of calls since I've had a landline activated.  They all just keep calling and I come home to nearly 10 missed calls daily.  Now, when my phone rings (like it did this am from Tropic Guard) I answer by saying "who's this?" and when they respond my only conversation with these calls is "stop talking....I am on the national do not call list....remove my number from your records and do not call again".    I hang up immediately and so far so good and none have called again.

Thank you so much for the number. We needed hurricane protection and TropicGuard did a fabulous job. Shame on you people for complaining when they just want to make certain that you have protection from the storms!

I called their 800# (800-682-4479). No answer, but I  did leave a message with my home phone number telling them to remove it from their call list. Luckily I have an OOMA phone system so I can block all their numbers listed here from even making my phone RING!

Rude little dude hung up on me too.  Caller ID is Tropic Guard.  # is 727-596-7861  He asked for Mrs. ____ , the name of someone who had our home under contract to buy about 4 yrs. ago.  Obviously they had ordered the MSFH inspection.  I said "No, this is.. before I could get it out he simply hung up.  You would think that a salesman would be willing to talk to anyone who was not an answering machine.

This company calls our office 10 to 12 times in a row, If we answer hello, they aske for on of the owners of the properties we mange, If we answer "green Real Estate" They hang up & we are called back again & again.

The worst type of phone solicitation refered by "my Florida safe home".

GUY HUNG UP TWICE! 1st call asked if my cell # was mine by name. I said yes twice and he hung up. 2nd call asked same thing 2-3 times and I replied who is this 3 times. He hung up again. I paid for reverse look-up and then did search on web and found this site. I filed FCC complaint. I called a different # given in one of the post. Ended up talking to a female at Tropic Guard/Guard Tropic. They had no one by name of Perry Newell(reverse look-up) that worked there. The number is from Verizon and they now use Brighthouse and stated that it is an outline #. Therefore cannot receive incoming calls. She also stated it may be an old manager and/or employees that have been fired. She said she was hired as a P.I. by the owner to find out what was happening and to clean house. Well thats it folks...

I finally was here when they called. They are selling hurricane windows and painting services. Once I told them I had no money he was very rude and hung up when I asked him what co had done MSFH inspection!
The state HAS NO RIGHT selling our information like that!

Got a call on my house phone and cell phone today, it came up as Stewart I. I didnt answer. When I call it back, its busy. Googled it, its at 12525 Ulmerton Rd in Largo. Other numbers listed, called that and got a voice mail, didnt leave a message.

Got a call this morning on my cell phone from this number.  He was apparently looking for my dad and when I asked him what this was in regards to he said "it doesn't matter your not him" and hung up on me.

Glen Adams of Tropic Guard keeps calling me on my cell number and asking for someone I dont even know. I have told him at least 6 times that he has the wrong number and he just hangs up. Have been unable to reach anyone at Tropic Guard / Stewart Industries. There are several numbers he calls from but all come back to Tropic Guard in Largo Florida.

Continually calling-will not leave message on answering mach- My read is that this is not a firm that is conducting legitimate business

As mentioned earlier.  It is a guy named "Rick" from Tropic Guard (AKA Stewart Industries).... He is trying to sell hurricane shutters and window protection.  He was refered by My Safe Florida Home.

This number called last Fri. and left no message.  They called again today and again left no message.

We tried to call back several times, wanting to be put on their company-specific Do Not Call list, but we could never get through.  We always got a busy signal or a ringing and then dead air.

We filed a complaint with the FCC:

We did finally reach someone at a Stewart Industries (aka Tropic Guard) in Largo, FL (different phone number: (727) 596-6803) and asked to be put on their Do Not Call list.  They are calling people who submitted a My Safe Florida Home application.

We also called My Safe Florida Home to ask them to stop distributing our phone number to telemarketers:  866-513-MSFH (6734).  

They referred us to the Fla. Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Florida Do Not Call Program:  http://www.800helpfla.com/nosales.html.  

Unfortunately, it costs $15 to be listed on the Florida Do Not Call list, and $5/yr thereafter.

Received atleast a half dozen calls in last month from this number. No messages left and when I answered no response, just a hang up.
