Same as other callers. Warranty service scam. They rotate through various phone numbers from different area codes so be ready to put them on your "reject list" often. Call from 219-345-4024 I answered by mistake, resulted in a call from 727-712-3461 about 2 minutes later.

I didn't answer the phone in time and called back and got a busy signal. I googled the # and got the following info:
Carolyn Pollack (727) 712-3461 2346 Druid Rd E, Clearwater, FL 33764

Received a call from (727) 712-3461. Message-bot said it was about my automobile warranty. I pressed "1" to speak to a customer service representative.
Put on hold for 2 minutes.
Rep picks up line, "Thank you for opting in." (Even though I didn't opt in to anything other than speaking to a customer service rep.)
He asks, "What is the make and model of your vehicle?"
I reply, "I was just going to ask you that. What make and model do you have for me?"
He says, "For security reasons I cannot tell you."
I say, "What about the year, can you give me that?"
He says, "It would be for model years between 1995 and 2007."
I say, "Well I just don't know which vehicle you mean."
He says, as he hangs up on me, "I'm getting you by mistake so I'll put you on the no call list and you have a good day."
This is the second time a rep there has told me they'd put me on the "no call list."
I don't think the "no call list" is working very well.

Received two call today. Have received numerous calls in the past. I am on several "NO CALL LISTS" but doesn't seem to help.

You bet it's a scam - I don't even own a car.

got a call from 727-712-3461 2 minutes ago. This is like the 3rd time.
How did they get my cell phone number? I will call my cell phone company to block that number.

Thursday September 25 1:05 PM got a call from 727-712-3461 on my cell phone; I don't answer calls from strange phone numbers, so I Googled it, and found Carolyn Pollack.
Coming here saved me from calling the phone number back.
I think that some of these phone banks are either getting phone numbers that have been just dropped by long-time customers, and thus are returned to circulation (hence the Google listing); or they have some way of directing their outgoing phone calls through the phone numbers of employees (?).

I keep getting called from this number. Will someone from Clearwater show up at this person's house and knock them out?

Over the past month, I got called both at my home and cell phone number by the number 727-712-3461 regarding the expiry of my car factory warranty(????). It's a recording that then instructs you to press 1 to speak to someone, which I have obviously not done.

I get this same f***in call all the day time... My truck isn't even in my name it's under my dad's name... Nobody but my friends and family have my cell number and everytime I get this warranty call its from a different number each time. This is so stupid! And it's really pissin me off now.
Meg 2011-06-06 20:56:02 Unknown
Keep getting called not only by this number but other "unknown" numbers as well that pretty much have the same message. "This is a last call regarding the expiration of the warranty of your car..." or some nonsense like it. Funny thing is... it's never the "last call".

've got call but no sound

Has anybody successfully blocked the calls from 727-712-3461? My # is on DNC list, but I'm still getting this crank call from time to time.
hf 2011-06-06 20:56:02 Unknown
These jerks call me on both my home and cell #. If I let it go to voice mail, I just get a portion of a recorded message about an expired auto warranty. May the fleas of 1 trillion camels infest their bodies and may they feel the bites of 2 trillion mosquitos.

Thanks to those reporting, I knew not to answer.

About 6:30pm on 9/24/2008 my cell phone recieved a call from this number. I ignored it until I got a similar call tonight from another of the same kind and google it. That led me to this site, and convinced me to list them both. Hope someone follows up on these punks and shut them up or down, whichever, so long as they cease and desist their unsolicited calling.
Ed D 2011-06-06 20:56:02 Unknown
They call earlier today & I looked into this site & found out they are a telemarketing company. When you buy something "as seen on TV", they call offering gas cards & the like. Tonight when they called for the 3rd time, I knew to INSTANTLY say "Please put me on your do not call list" She said thank you & have a nice evening.
If you buy something from TV or on line, "As Seen on TV" you will begin getting calls from they. Just have them place you on the Do Not Call list.

I have been receiving calls from 727-712-3461 for 2 weeks now on my cell phone, about 5-6 times/day, and they NEVER leave a message! I finally called the number back, and when he picked up the phone, he said "Hello, (my name)". Obviously they have caller i.d. I ordered "The Perfect Dog" system 2 weeks ago, and someone connected with them has been calling to get us to sign up for a "membership" for discounts at restaurants and stores. I told them I was not interested in buying any more, and he tried 3 more times to sell something. You have to be FIRM with them! Hopefully they stop calling.
Jeff 2009-01-05 19:14:25 Unknown
they call me once in a while.
They ask you to press a number to reactivate warrenty coverage..
DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER PRESS ANY NUMBERS ON YOUR PHONE IF YOU ANSWER THESE GUYS.
Pressing a number gives them the authority and access to your phone and the ability to not only steal your name and number, but use it for their own benefits such as, calling other places from your number... (hell, they could call japan and let you pay for it...)
no cell phone carrier cares to do anything about it... and even if they did there is only so much they can do. If this number gets blocked or lost or turned off, they can just steal another one to use.
Retarded people out there breaking the law and scamming. My advice, don't answer, and just ignore the calls. If you get more than one a week, get your number changed.

Called me to let me know the extended warranty expired on my car. I never had an extended warranty in the first place.
