This guy just tried scamming me too!!!!!! A***ole

Selling car on Craigslist ... guy texts me wanting to buy car sight unseen ASAP using PayPal ... the add clearly reads cash transactions only. Should have known seeing the 727 755 3566 number  SCAM ALERT !

This person is a scam he send you a fake paypal invoice DONT deal with this person

Same as the rest, he will pay me 5k and have somebody come pick up a jet ski. If this has been going on for so long how has this guy not been arrested yet?

I got a text from this guy today about a power wheelchair I am selling.  I got curious where 724 area code was because the guy was not worried about shipping and he also wanted my PayPal account info. Then I saw all of the posts of people he was trying to scam.  I guess if it sounds to good to be true...

Just got a text from this number today - asking if my vehicle is available. After my initial response, I got no follow up correspondence. Go figure - not that I would ever take payment via paypal or ship a vehicle. Can't take anyone on their word anymore!

I was contacted by an individual saying he wanted to buy a semi-truck that I have for sale. He wanted my Google checkout # so He could make a deposit into my account, then he would send a moving company to pick up the truck. He was very eager to make a deposit into my account.

I was selling my hummer H2 in Craigslist. This guy texted me that he was interested in buying the verhicle. He asked for my name and Paypal email account, he texted me that he had paid the sum of $25,150.00 into my paypal account and also make an arrangement with a shipping company in Tulsa oklahoma to pick up the verhicle to New York. When I called Paypal office to verify the transaction, I was told that no money have been paid into my Paypal account. Please be careful of the many scammers out there.

I was also texted from this number asking about my Craigslist posting said he was from New York and wanted to pay using PayPal. He also asked my name as well. Total scam!

I was also texted with this number ,,,for a 500.00 item ,, wants me to ship it ,, I responded with its either you come and pick it up with the cash or forget it, when I called paypal theres no record of an account with this number, glad someone is verifying this thanks

I was selling a 800 dollar item on craigslist.   This person texted me asking my name and paypal account so he can pay and ship it out claims to be from NY and that his name is john.

He talks like a scammer "kindly respond to my message etc"


Total scammer!

This is someone working with people in Nigeria trying to get money.
