Scott! If you read through the entire thread of two pages and covering 4 years, you will see that this number has been used under many disguises. These disguised calls out of Florida from what ever telemarketer / marketer / call center using illegal telemarketing tactics are SCAMMING  the elderly, vulnerable, and uninformed. Are you receiving calls and confused as to why they would call you no matter the disguise used?  If so, it is illegal telemarketing business practices and often the same tactics used by the debt collection industry.

They called me and left a message, wanting to know if I was the small business owner and would I be interested  in doing government contract work?  Not sure if it is legit or not.

I am a small business but our Federal Government is a farce! It's a JOKE. What kind of TOM FOOLERYis this?  They can't make a descent decision on health care. Obama and his cronies in the democratic Senate and (I need not leave out the leader of the ring), Harry Reid and his evil COHORT, Mrs, Inside Trader...Pelosi, have ruined this country and continue to RUIN IT.

They called and said they were putting together a list of people who want to work for the Federal Govt.
Note: If you are certified to work for government, this lists already exists and you are already on it. Could it be yet another middle man promising to offer bids for the right price? All the govt. bids are free and searchable on the Federal Biz Opps website https://www.fbo.gov/.

Called regarding government bidding.  Her name was Joy Jones, was very rude and hung up on me when I while I was explaining why I was not interested.

My favorite is, "but I'm on the DNC list"!  I'll give the same answer as the telemarketers - so?  Since that is where they get their numbers to call why should that surprise you.  As if anyone ever gets prosecuted for abusing the DNC list.

Too many STOOPID people out there. Pick up the dang phone if you want to know who it is OR don't answer it but to come here with ZERO info and say: 000-000-0000 called me who is it?? Is just plain STUPID!

Caller ID said New Port Ric FL. I answered because I have a friend visiting that city that I thought might be calling.  Wrong. The caller said he was calling from ADT and had a "promotion of sorts" to tell me about.  I told him that there was a reason I was on the Do Not Call list.  His response was "I had a feeling you would say that".  Really? While I appreciate the honesty why would you call me then admit that you know, or suspect, that you are violating federal law?

The number that called me was 807-727-1228, not sure how this #727-807-3290 showed up on a search.

I got a call from this number yesterday. They hung up as soon as I answered.
I'm in Canada and my caller ID said JIN TING RESTAURANT.

They identified themselves as GE Security. Asked me if I was the home owner. When I told them no, they hung up. Caller ID said INTERNATIONAL.

Numerous, almost daily phone calls. I refuse to answer any call that shows up on my caller-id that I do not know. If it is ADT, I would be surprised. Get yourself an airhorn from Walmart and keep it next to the phone. When they finally decide to talk to you, let them have it!!!!!!

I also have received numerous calls from this number with no message left.  Today I answered to finally try to put an end to it.  I had to say hello 3 times before the woman on the other end realized I had answered.  When she finally said hello I was pretty ticked off and it was evident in my voice.  She immediately hung up.  I also have received calls from supposed security companies wanting to know if I have a system.  At first I gave no response.  The last time I advised them that not only did I have a system, I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Pit Bull as well as a .22 at all times.  I have NOT heard back from them since!

This is happening soo frequently, that it could easily be described as harrassment.
I am keeping track of these numbers and would like to know: is there anything that can be done about it?  I am on the "no call list" This obviously does not work.

They called yesterday, I said hello, they said they were from ADT security systems. Yes what do you want, and they hung up.  Very annoying, called right at dinner time.

Call was placed from this number to my cell phone at 8:55 p.m.  Very sly... trying to slip that call in right before the 9 PM shut off of FCC call parameters.  I didn't answer the call and they left no message.  My cell number is blocked and on the National Do Not Call List.  I attempted to call back but got the same "cannot call this number" response.  My guess is that it is some sort of BOT or dialer that calls out randomly to people, and it is an outbound only number.  

I tracked the number to New Port Richey, Florida in Pinellas County.  I am unsure of the correct company, but for certain this is a telemarketer.  BE AWARE.  I am a Certified Fraud Investigator in Florida and these types of calls turn out to be fraudulent all the time.  If you decide to answer, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.  Furthermore, if they claim to be ADT Security Systems as some of the callers above claim, do not give out any details about your home/office security set up.  There have been cases known where people ask if you currently have a security system and when you reply NO, a robbery occurrs the following week.  Protect yourself always.  Do not answer unwarranted calls, and if you do answer, question the caller extensively.

Yes, it IS harrassment.  I'm a senior, and I keep getting calls from them on my cell phone, and I only use my cell for emergencies.  It is a pre-paid Tracfone, so I don't answer because it will cost me units if I answered it; but it's getting very annoying.

They called me yesterday at 8:13pm and today at 1:19pm.  They do not leave a message and when I tried to call them back it said that the call could not go through.  How can someone call from a number that doesn't really exist? What can we do to stop these people from calling? This is harrassment, not terrorism.

Got a 12:15 am call from 727 807 3290 and they hung up before I could answer! Their call could not be returned!

Received a call from this number. There were a few seconds of silence and then a prerecord message in Alison Smith's voice stated "Goodbye"

727.807.3290 has been calling for days and never leaves a message and the call will not go through when I try to call back.

I received two today.  Everyday they call the residence or cell phone.  It should be illegal, this is terrorism.  The  FCC, law enforcement and phone companies should not allow them to terrorize citizens!

Received call on cellphone from this number. No message was left. Tried to call back and automessage said call back later.

This number called twice to my home within just few minutes, today.  The first time no one talked and the connection went off. The second time the said to be ADT Security Systems (male voice) and I answer that I was not interested. They said thanks and disconnected. When I tried to call back I got a message saying that it could not go through and to try again later. The caller ID reads: Five Diamond and the number mentioned above, but the caller said it was ADT Security System.  In retrospect, couldn't it be someone trying to find if we are equipped  with a security system ?.
