After looking around a little I found so much information about your company it is crazy. The BBB sent out a warning about you all, Charity Watch sent another and then there is this below. But you all just keep dialing away. I can see now that I am going to have to invest in a phone that can block all these numbers that bug me. I cant decide who is worse that calls me, Good Charity Inc and Brian Maiorana or Outreach Calling Inc and Damian Muzaini

What happens when members of a fundraising firm start charities? Today?s Better Business Bureau press release questions the relationship between a Michigan charity and the fundraising firm it uses to raise money.

Good Charity Inc. is based in Michigan but is licensed to do business in 24 states. Good Charity?s founder, Brian J. Maiorana, formerly worked for Insight Teleservices, also of Michigan, a company that makes money soliciting donations for charities. That firm has an F rating with the BBB.

A contract between Good Charity and Insight calls for Insight to retain 85 percent of the funds it raises for the charity. In 2011, Good Charity reported that it received just $180,000 from the $1.4 million Insight raised on its behalf that year. The charity made grants of $75,000, or about five cents for each dollar in donations.

Good Charity is an umbrella organization for 10 related organizations with names suggestive of the kinds of causes or people they assist. The names include:

United States Paralyzed Veterans Fund
Children?s Leukemia of America Fund
National Breast Cancer Awareness Fund
Disabled Veteran Wheelchair Games
Michigan Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund

The BBB has the following tips for donors:

If you are solicited by a telemarketer, ask the names of both the fundraiser making the call and the charity he or she is representing.  Ask how much of your contribution goes to the charity and how much is retained by the fundraiser.
If you are solicited by mail, understand that a portion of your contribution may go to a for-profit company hired to run the campaign.  Call the fundraiser or charity and ask how much of your money the charity will receive.
Contact the charity to find out how it uses donations from the public.  Will it provide direct aid to families, buy medical supplies or be used for education or research?
Check the charity?s BBB Charity Review at www.bbb.org.

constant harassment from this number , they say they will remove my number, but they never do,
this has been going on for more than a year.

I received call from 727-828-0938 at 12:45 p.m. 3/26/10.  I did not recognize the #, did not answer. They left no message so I assume unwanted solicitation call.

I applied for online job recently and now getting all these unwanted solicitation calls. If the calls were in referrance to employment, I would think they would have the decency to leave a message. I'm on a no call list. They are taking up all my caller ID space. If these calls continue, I will call phone company and report as nuisance calls. If I have to resort to changing my number to avoid the hassassment, I will report to the police.

Obviously a phone bank; soliciting for WI Paralyzed Veterans; polite and not pushy, took "no" for an answer without comment.

Called the number, and a recording from Insight Teleservices' customer service advises they are making calls on behalf of a client who is a charitable organization, who are exempt from Nat'l Do Not Call Registry.  But they do offer to remove your number from their list, and you just enter it.

Called at dinner time, left no message. I screen all numbers that are not in my CID address book. If an unknown won't talk to the machine, I figure they don't really want to talk to me!

received calls from 7278280938 repeatedly.. contacted verizon wireless-my services-spam control and was able to block up to five numbers.. so far so good.  you can also call your carrier direct and they will assist you personally..good luck

calls 3 times aday no answer when pick up phone.

Call 37 times told them don't call but the still do.I hooked my phone to fax machine, so now they just call and get that good old whistle sound

Calls at various times of the day and leaves no message. Probably another idiot organization looking for donations.  Very annoying!  ARRRRGGG.

Got a call just a few mins ago from someone asking for me by first name, identifying herself only as "TR."  I don't have Caller ID, but *69 gave me the number and I googled it.  Apparently it's from a company calling themselves Insight Teleservices with an address in Florida.  I really hope they don't call again.  I HATE telemarketers.

People are so suspicious.  Its really gone far beyond the national and state do not call numbers.  Now when people find an unfamiliar number on their caller ID, they run the number on google and discuss the callers on forums like this.  I discovered another wrinkle about a year ago.  Someone was using an untraceable trak phone to call homes.  I got such a call over a year ago. When I checked the number on google back then I discovered some of those called had their homes robbed after the call was made and they didn't answer.  After reading that, I called a cop and showed him what was written on the internet.  The cop wrote up a report.  This year the cop called my answer machine probably to tell me something had turned up in the case.  I didn't bother to call him back and find out about it though.

Caller said they were cancer institute.

Calls 2-3 times daily@ various times.  I finally called the number to find out who was calling--got recorded msg.

This one doesn't really even talk to you, just makes the calls.  I've gotten calls from two in the same Detroit suburb that are certainly linked.  I think they may get one's phone number off facebook.

Calls from the numbers 517-679-0758, 734-369-9220 ring, I answer and then a hangup. Once a day, everyday.  The calls are coming from Lansing, MI - Insight Teleservices.

Thanks for the info on where to complain. I get calls 2-3 times a day from these jerks, and have requested that they take my name of their list to no avail. I even tried to send the corporate office an email, which came back as "delivery notification failure".

ok...here's a new 1!  3 days ago, I start getting calls from PROFESSIONAL TE...Same guy acts like he knows me! "is this_ _? How are U today?" Then the pitch: claims he's from Paralyzed Vets. I say "I'm disabled with Lupus & can't afford to give & take me off your list"...NOPE! the other day the SAME guy calls AGAIN! I was so shocked! I said nothing & he hung up but THAT did'nt stop there! Today (on a Saturday). My Husband gets that # but there's nobody there. He called the pre rec # to be REMOVED. At noon? ANOTHER 1 (nothing). Now: about 30 minutes ago: PRIVATE CALLER! There was a foriegner who again asked me to donate...I say: "HOW did you get this #?" And she hung up! I called AGAIN to get this to stop! So help me if they DARE call on Easter I will SCREAM!!!  We're UNLISTED & on the DNC so how do they get our #? Can't ANYBODY help & find out? These fools do NOT sound legit to me!

I am constantly getting calls from this number, several a day for over a week.  I'd answer just to get them to stop calling, but it only rings twice-by the time I get to the phone, they're gone.  I read one of the posts that said if you have at&t you can block this number, how do I do that?  Is there a charge for doing that?

Called at 11 am Sat. Morning.  Only day to sleep in. Hate them!
