They are totally legit.  I bought their book from 2008 and probably will buy the 2013 book as well.

Mary at least made an attempt at confirming through her own source.  I would have no idea how to contact my own alumni association to confirm their employment of AR, but it sounds at least as legit as the 2K election.  Identity theft is easy to say, but is it accurate?

I too received a weird message about an alumni directory, so I contacted my alumni association. I gave them the #s they called from and left on their message. They told me it was actually a legitimate call- they told me they were using a company in FL (we're in IA). They said its common for schools to 'outsource' a task like this especially when they are wanting to contact a large # of people and spans of classes. I won't call it back because I don't care, but makes me feel a lot better.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I'm on the National do-not-call registry and I don't want to keep paying for them to call my cell phone with unsolicited calls.

got call from this # last night they knew name and h.s. i went for one year and in which have been fighting with in past years to remove me from their alumni list since i never graduated from and do not want anymore contact from now this call in which in a upset tone of voice started to tell her this issue and that i have requested no more contact from the h.s.alumni assoc she hung up on me called the # back aand got repeated message to enter extension # or stay on line and i can leave message and it will be routed accordingly never got to leave message only that i could punched in extension #123 and 111 by chance got thru  but they only rang and rang what good is the do not call list both federal and state if we still get call like this i guess that is our government tax dollars at work uselessly and wastefully!!!!!

Called for information about me for a high school alumni book ??  Only knew my name and high school ! Wanted updated information that they and no one else needs to know in this period of my LIFE!!  Sound like a new scam way to get information.  Report and block the number from your phones!! Scammers never stop.

Called on an unpublished cell phone number. Was asking for me by a last-name which I haven't used in 5 years (I have remarried and changed my name).  Area code is from Florida and I went to HS in Ohio.

got me on cell phone which I don't publish.  Already knew my HS & graduation year, wanted more for alumni book.  Not in a hurry to collect more info.  Good voice.  

727 is North of Tampa on the coast.  Website they gave is for a HS in NJ (not even close).

This group is commissioned by the high school from where you graduated. They collect your 'personal biography' to publish it.

OK class, repeat after me, 'identity theft'. They left a message knowing my name and the high school I graduated from over 25 years ago.
