I've had 5 calls this week .... NO one on the other end.... getting tired of the harassment ..... anyone interested I have a great ATTORNEY that will rip them a new one.... this is right up his alley... HARASSMENT........

They are a telemarketer and have a new number 727-857-5947.  Yes they are collecting for a charity but I seriously doubt more than 10% of you donation will go to the cause.  Just hang up or request your number be removed from their calling list.

Can't anything be done to stop this nuisance.  2 or 3 calls each day. Sometimes as late as 9:30pm.

I just had the same call from 7278575921 and when I told him I was the dog sitter he hung up on me immediately. I wouldn't give them a penny.

I get several calls a day, all time of the day, for years not.  They are very rude, pushy, and nasty. One time I offered less than what they were asking for, and the idiot was very rude, and hung up on me.  Now I answer on the first or second ring, and immediately hang up.

As of Jan 27 2012 the number 727-862-7999 has been disconnected or is not in service. Just tried calling it at 3:27 PM.

The company calling asking for donations... is NOT a charity.
Only a charity making direct calls may cal individuals on the "DO NOT CALL" list.
A third party company trying to solicit donations...can not call.

Keep accurate information...Date, Time, Day, What happened when you answered...

1. get name of who you spoke with
2. ask for name of the organization collecting donation
3. ask for exact name of organization fund are being collected for.
4. ask for tax number number / or 501 c3 number.

They call numerous times per day and at 9PM nightly. They leave no message. Another number that they call from is 727-862-3733. I have filed a complaint with donotcall.gov but don't really know who BACFF is.

Bay Are Council of FireFighters.  Florida.  A conglomerate of IAFF union locals.  It is exempt from the Do No Call registry.  It is a legitimate fundraiser.  The funds go directly to the Locals and are not eaten up with "administrative fees".

This person called purporting to be collecting for Emergency Medical staff.

Last night I received 3 calls from BACFF within 1 hour.  I have filed a complaint with the FCC(Do Not Call Registry) but since this is considered a "Non-Profit" scam there is nothing they will do.  I think that 3 calls within one hour constitutes harassment.  Perhaps some law enforcement agency can do something but I doubt they will do anything.

I am getting calls from this number and I am tired of it. I am on the do not call list.

They call to ask for donations to help our firefighters. Yea, right they get 10 and give them 1 probably.  I've asked them to remove my number numerously.  They do not pay attention. Don't donate or give.  If you want to donate go to your local firestation and donater directly to it.
They are pain in the butts.

One or two calls a day---if you answer you get a very aggressive person who just talks over you!Would never in a  million years send these people money.I'm also on Do Not Call list.

This number interrupted dinner time tonight at 7:29 pm and when I picked the phone up and said hello, they hung up on me. I'm getting tired of these kinds of calls!

Number called phone rang three times and they hung up.  Searched the number and it shows up on yellowpages.com as being a residence in Hudson, FL.
