My last contact was with Microsoft..... Promised a refund over a month ago and computer glitches ever since.

Rang me multiple times, went to voicemail  and only heard music/talking/gibberish at the same time

Phoned NZ and advised I had won a trip also - second time iv been phoned they had my email address and all - ended the call by hanging up.

Have been rung twice by this number and have now blocked it on mobile phone.  Don't know anyone is USA so did not want to answer it.  Take care everyone!

Received a call today 19 June 2014. I am across the ditch in New Zealand. Missed call as was driving, but interested to investigate and read the comments. I signed up a month ago with Booking.com, an online accommodation reservations site. Have they a tie up with this outfit, described as a telemarketer? Or is this just coincidental and they are a scam.

Hi Barbie, I got the same call.  Thinking its a scam.

This has to be a scam, they have been calling me a number of times a day about a holiday in Florida that I have won from filling In an online survey, haven't filled one in for Hilton.

Tell him to come here and read this thread then on the number that is calling.  Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Just got called just before 10.30pm tonight wt...who does that unless its a family emergency not impressed to say the least. Didn't answer the call but looked up the number instead and found this site. I'm in NZ VERY UNWANTED!!!!

I'm on the do not call register too and keep getting calls.

I live in Australia and keep getting calls too. I called back and the recording said it was Wells Fargo. I don't want calls.

Edit: although the card they mentioned was an old one, I'm still reporting them. They shouldn't have info on people, it's illegal.

These people called me about a trip, they knew my email & had info of my credit card. How do I report these guys? I will be informing my bank & the commissioner here in Australia. Can anyone here advise on what they are up to.

Got a call from this number but couldnt hear her.  I just kept saying hello and she hung up.  I recently joined skype...could this be the connection as I have never had this type of call before.

I am in NZ and just had this number try to call me, I ignored it as I also had another recently from the Michigan area which comes up as some kind of 'deal' as well.

I always ignore unknown numbers (unless I am expecting a call...) and if they are genuine they will leave a message.

They called me again tonight. I answered in 2011 and thought it was a scam, so gave them my cancelled credit card details that I knew wouldn't work, they called again tonight saying I needed to pay another $260.00 to re activate my offer and they rattled off my old credit card details!! I said I was unhappy they had kept that on file and the man started being aggressive to me because I wouldn't agree to paying money. He then hung up.
I am glad I have checked this out, the number is going in my block list now.

yes, I too got a call from this number ..... I am sick and tired of companies like McD offering you free vouchers where you give out your phone number and email BUT  before you can get it you need to fill out a questionnaire on other companies... NO I DO NOT WANT A FUNERAL PLAN, NO I DO NOT WANT LIFE INSURANCE, NO I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING .... at the start of these questions they ask for areas of interest and hobbies... it is from there the info gets passed on to those irritating cold callers who call over and over .... and all McD sent me was a crappy prepaid offer... for $1 I get to pay them $39 pm from my credit card, then go eat $39 a month of their toxic crap, keep the receipts and they will refund that money through paypal.

They snag you with an offer divulge your personal info, no warning of cold callers, and you still don't get your stuff. Even if you click off the tab and not complete the questionnaire your info is circulated!!!

ALSO the crappy cheap holiday over there will cost you several thousand to get there and back... flights, accommodation, passports etc.... I would rather go on a cruise to the Antarctica, and still come home with change.

I think if you enter your phone number on any competition site, they sell the number and email address to other companies. Like just a week ago, I entered an apple iPhone comp. Now I get a call today from another comp. I know I wouldn't apply for this comp as you need a passport to get there and I can not get one.

This number called me last year and call me every day this week.

They have my name, mobile number and email address saying i won a holiday to The Bahama's and Flordia (they said this to me last year also, how lucky am I to win the same holiday package within a year!) I also noticed it was the exact same background noise as when they called me a year ago.
I asked them if they would like my credit card information also ( i was being sarcastic) so that they could continue to scam me, the man acted all innocent and i told him to get a real job, to f*ck off and never call me again. I hope they get the point as i am so over recieving calls from this number.

Yep - they called me this morning. I got scammed a year ago, and now they are trying to get me to pay another US$196.00 to extend the 2nd October 2014 deadline to take up/book the holiday that I am pretty sure they already scammed me for !!!

Same thing for me. Told me they were responding to my filling out an online form that I know I never filled out. When I said I never filled it out they insist I did. I'm not stupid, I know I didn't fill out an online form. The woman said "we didn't get your number from a phone book". I don't know where they got it from but it sure wasn't from me. I told the bloke before that I never wanted to go to America and then he was offended. Really? There's a mcdonalds on every corner in Australia why go there to see a mcdonalds on every corner? He got upset.

Anyway, I'm curious as to whether they're allowed to call be that are on the do not call register as I am on the do not call register.

Have received 4 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks, I wont answer and they wont leave vm so figured it can't be important,  I live in a very small country town in Western Australia

Received a call twice so far and they ask for a person I know by name. Does this need to be reported to the Federal Police. I am in Perth, Australia.

Yeah how about that I live in campbelltown - sydney. was in a conference and looked at the number and I didnt answer it and lucky I didnt. It does look like Tarpon Springs but I did see Chem-Dry Clearwater/Largo ????
