Just got a call, but did not answer, did not recognize number. I am on the donotcall.gov list so will be reporting it. Have gotten a lot of telecalls in the last week and it's getting old really fast.

Just got a call from them but didn't answer.  I've hit a point where I don't answer unless I recognize the number.  Relative to the time waster routine.  More than once I've played the deaf old man saying (loudly) "For the love of God, is anyone there?  Lucille, this damn thing doesn't work.  Hello? Hello?"  That often gets them to drop my number from their list.

Company keeps psych-calling me about "IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING [MY] CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT."

Then goes on to say how they can "lower [my] rates on [my] credit cards.

Press the Number "1" and try to engage them as long as possible - to these people, their time is MONEY; so is yours, but they could care less about wasting YOUR time - at least try to WASTE as much of THEIR time as possible.  Yank their chain as long as you can.
