732-694-1023 belongs to Marketing Plus which is a small company located in central NJ. They sell suscriptions on behalf of the local newspapers in the NJ area.  I only know this because I asked. I get calls from them all the time, and due to the recession I decline. They are legit and if you dont want to receive calls from them I believe that you can ask to be removed from their calling list either by phone or by writing. They are usually very polite but if you do get someone on the phone that is rude I would ask to speak with a supervisor.

calls constantly...many times a day...from early early to late...never leaves a message...how do i report this????

They call everyday, morning, noon and night. If I answer, no one is there.

have called my cell phone twice now . . . 10:19 a.m. today and yesterday 2:29 p.m.  no message--which leads me to believe it can't be that important, but it is prettty annoying.

They just called me saying they were the Newark Advocate (I live in Newark Ohio) and said they noticed I had recently cancelled (Which is true... lucky guess?).

They ALMOST got me as the deal they were offering to sign back up was pretty good. Thank god it hit me before we go to credit card info "Wait 732 area code?"

Call came in @ 7:15. When I answered, they immediately hung up.

Got a call SAturday morning at 8:50am. Did not leave a message. It is no tthe first time they called.

I get the calls also...morning, noon and night. I don't answer, and no message is being left on answering machine.  I think they're a bill collection agency.

They called this morning and introduced themselves as a collection agency.  Said my bill was due and they didn't get my payment yet.  Lie!  The bill was paid and cleared before the due date last week.  He then asked if I wanted to go on an auto pay plan.
I believe this to be a scam to get your banking/credit card information.  I called my newspaper (Asbury Park Press) and spoke to a supervisor.  She said it wasn't the Press that gave them the information, that they don't report to a collection agency.

They aren't the Asbury press, they told me they are the Daily News, both are lies. They are a racketeering group of thieves in new Jersey who are calling under different numbers pretending to be different companies all with the same goal: stealing your identity and $$$$. They also pretend to be MCI in an attempt to get you to "pay your bill". Another time they pretended to be a collection agency and now they pretend to be a newspaper. It's all a scam. Report it to the FBI.

Most likely the Asbury Park Press - I recently canceled my home delivery since I only received the Sunday paper for the sales circular and coupons - but now I can get all of that online before the paper is even delivered. They keep calling to to try and get me to restart my subscription.

called at 8:58 am 10-11-08 left no message. Called number there was a message from Marleting Plus calling from the local news paper. Most like the Asbury Park Press, they are know for being the most anoying company in New Jersey!!!

I called back and got a VM saying it was a marketing firm calling on behalf of my local paper.  They advise that you can leave a message with your phone number to request that it be put on their do not call list.
