I submitted a job ad response online for a position with American Income last week and received a call from Mrs. Wallace today from this phone number.  We discussed the position I applied for and I have a second interview later this week with the regional manager.
My best friend works for American Income in Wyoming, he is very satisfied with the company so I applied and am looking forward to the same results.

Dear Denise, As much as I would love to have a job and need a job, I need more info than this! The phone number you list belongs to
the Paden family on Mullberry st in Wyandotte, Mi.
This e-mail is listed on Whocallsme.com as a scam?
I know my name (not applicant) and phone is clearly posted on my resume(if you have tried to call it under unknown my service will not allow you to go thru)
Sincerely, Applicant

Got this email at 8:40am today. Searched for this person on LinkedIn.com and couldn't find them. Then searched the email address and came up with this information. I could tell something was wrong based on the information in the email. The grammer is poor to begin with and having been a recruiter for many years I knew this was a scam. Even if there was an error uploading into an ATS system they could have contacted Monster for a list of candidates and gotten the information directly from them. Also I didn't apply to any companies with that email address. It's sad in an economy like this that there are people attempting to take advantage of people that are actively looking for work.

I got this same email yesterday. But, my email said for me to contact Denise Ward to set up an interview. I knew something was fishy because my name was not on letter or the name of the company. Thanks guys for posting, now I won't waste my time to reply or call. That's valuable time that could be used actually searching for job. But, really what's the purpose of this if they are not looking to hire anyone? People are just mean!

I got the exact same email about not having good contact info. I couldn't find a REAL website, so I checked the phone number on google and found this. I decided to call the number and got to a voicemail about American Life but it didn't give a name or anything, just "You have reached American Life, and I'm sorry I'm not in." Not sure what the deal is...

"Confused & Scared" did you go on the job interview?  Has anyone else talked to them.  They called me on Tuesday, I called back and got the recording and left a message.  Then while trying to find out where the business was located I found a couple web pages like this one and got a little worried.  Well I have now received two other calls about this and an email.  Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

I have received multiple e-mails from this address.  I have attempted to contact them and find them to be completely a SCAM!!!  Do not bother to contact them ever.  I would sooner sit at home and attempt to suck my own dick
than waste any more time with these people.  Pardon my language, but it seems that this world is full of conmen/women willing to go to no uncertain lengths to try to get a qualified applicant with many years of experience to bite at a rotten worm.  SICCCCCCKENING!!!  I have always been suspicious to respond to any e-mails from anyone who does not bother to put their company name or an actual job description on the e-mail.  Now I remember why.
