I got a text message from this phone #. I tried calling back the number I got the text from and it was a non-working number. I called the number in the text and it said it was an activation center for Coop Credit Union Services. I was asked (by a recording) to enter my 16 digit card number. I tried putting in a fake number and it disconnected. I tried calling back to see if I could get a person to answer by just hitting the # key over and over. Normally hitting # or 0 would get you to a customer service rep. It didn't happen. My husband put the number that sent the text to me into Google and found this site.

Same exact message as BaBe. I assume the odds of having the same card number are pretty rare. Has to be some kind of phishing scam. Especially the fact that googleing the number doesn't immediately pop up a cscu site. I would suggest ignoring or blocking it if you can.

Got the EXACT same message tonight same number. None of my cards start with those digits. Also financial institutions usually communicate using the last four digits. Phishing scam for sure. Scumbags.

Just got a text message from 734-612-8890, Stating card deactivated. Coop Services Credit Union, Card starting with 4626. Call 734-612-5784. Sounds fishy. I'm not calling, no card with those numbers on it

Got an identical message last night. Thought it was a scam also and glad I checked into it.
