these people called with a medical alert system that my husband accepted.  but can not get in touch with them.  guess we are out of luck and probably credit card is charged to boot.  I never order anything when someone calls me.   If I call them at least I know there is a person there and have checked them out first

I got a call today from this number with the same story, someone ordered me Life Alert system,
and will be out to install it FREE!!!...........................
People like this should be punished!!!!

My cousin investigated some emergency call systems for me when my mother was in the hospital and I had no access to internet. She ordered nothing, just got some pricing. She never gave them a name or address. 3 days later she get a taped call at her home saying she was going to receive a "free" a emergency medical alert system and told her to press one to confirm. She hung up. I called the number and it was disconnected. Quite a racket since no one ordered service and certainly no one needs it at my cousin's house.

Just wondering if anyone pressed 1 and if a person came on to tell you more about this emergency alert system like how they got your number or who paid for it in advance, etc.  Also not sure if it was a long recording or live person because it sounded real - but it was annoying when we tried to ask a question but he wouldn't stop talking or wouldn;'t answer us.  We pressed 5 to "opt out" but then we called back and this AT&T default message said something like "this number cannot receive calls ...".  I suspect it's a scam.  Anyone press #1 on this?  If so, what happened next?

Called my mom and said "you mean you don't think your life is worth a dollar a day"? Really bullying her. Also told her a family member paid for this service.

Received a call, obviously taped, offering free life alert system, as it had already been paid for by a concerned friend. When I asked questions verifying who they were, the recording hesitated, and then continued with their spiel, as if they had not been interrupted.  Just hung up on them.

we get a call from here at least every day, and sometimes twice a day.  Told me the same thing a medical alert was paid for.  We do not need a medical alert, how do you get off this calling system.

A very persistent man tols me I was  going to receive a Life Alert from a concerned family member for free, that it was paid for all.  I told them to take my number off the do not call list.  He was still persistent.

Got a call from this number on Friday, April 26. I picked up the phone but didn't say anything.  After a few seconds they hung up.  There are no seniors in my house and we have no need for Life Alert.

I RECEIVE CALLS OF THIS KIND AT LEAST 5 OR 6 TIMES EVERY WEEK.  WHEN I CALL BACK 75% OF THE TIME I AM TOLD THE NUMBER DOESN'T EXIST, THE OTHER 25%, I AM TOLD MY NUBER WILL BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALL LIST.

I'M SO GLAD THAT "OUR" ???? FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS PASSED LAWS BANNING THESE TYPES OF PHONE CALLS.

These people call my parents almost everyday very early in the AM. Had the number blocked.

Pathetic losers! Preying on the unexpecting. Get a real job. Say that the person can have a Life Alert and all expenses are paid. Yeah right by who feces breath? I called Life Alert and they are on to you! Go clean a sewer.

my mother receiveds phone callat 10:47 a.m. on April 20th.   Informing her that she is receiving Life Alert from a concern family member for free.  And it was paid for all she had to do was pressed  the number one on her phone for someone to come to  install the system.  Please look into this matter.

Phony  number being used for caller ID  When I called back, it  disconnected.  Blocking the number on my phone.
