for those who don't know this: some of these places will have an automated dialer that dial random numbers, more than one at a time, so the first person to pick up gets the call and the others get nothing, no one on the line and no message in voicemail.  They remember the numbers that pick up and you will continue to recieve calls-probably from other numbers too.  i have made it my policy to not pick up unless  i recognize the number-especially "unknown callers" or "blocked numbers".  if it someone who knows me or it is important they will leave a message or call me back.

i got a call from them on my cell phone and iam ownly 14 1\2 .....annd they said i toke a job survey and i didnt . i called back and got their answering machine ..? is this a joke ?!

They called me twice. I didn't pick up the first time but as I forgot the number I picked up he second since I actually have applied to a few places. he said his name was Joesph or something like that. He said I filled out a survey or something which I didn't do. I told him to never call back. Let's see if he does...

Just recieved that call too, while I was at work.  The only people with my cell number is family & work so I didn't answer.  So glad I decided to Google the number, now I will know not to answer.

Just got a call from this number, rang for about 2 seconds and caller hung up, giving me no chance to answer it.
I'm in a 740 area but have never seen, nor called this number myself.

Did anyone else apply for an H.H. Gregg Facebook contest lately?  This was the only way that I have given my phone number out.

Yep...about a job you apparently said online you were interested. everything I said had a delay before answering. I think its a machine being fed responses. sounds like a real person though. I asked how they got my number and they started to answer and disconnected the call. most likely a scam as I havent given any info about lookin for a job...I have 2 that I love.

I just received a call but didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number.  After reading this I'm glad that I didn't pick up, sounds like a scam!

Got a call this morning, i answered it and the line was silent, then an automated "goodbye" and then it hung up.  Odd.

Called me about an hour ago,have no idea how they got my cell, i use straight talk for my carrier

Received call from this number today. I did not answer since I didn't recognis number.

Said he was calling because of some survey I took online.I don't take surveys online period.Said he is calling from Orlando Fla..Funny cause that's an Ohio phone number.

I received a call on my cell from this number, when I told him I hadn't done anything online, and I certainly never put my cell number online he told me he could send me info on jobs in my area after I gave him my info.  I asked him nicely to take my number off the call list and he said no.  After 3 times of him telling me no, I told him not to call my number back and hung up on him.

I received a call from this number, the quality was too bad for me to understand them and when I asked the man speaking to repeat himself he refused. Claimed I was looking for a job, which I am, but I have filled out no surveys for it. They've called twice now despite me telling them not to.

I rec'd a call this morn. Said it was about an online survey that I did. I hung up cuz I have not done any online surveys. I am on the no call list so I went to file a complaint. But it says charities and political organizations and surveyors can still call. You would need to tell them to take you off their list and log date and time and if you would get a call back then you can file complaint with NO CALL Registry. I believe this is a scam and they know to put survey in their speel so you can't turn them into the NO Call.

can't identify call

They called. I didn't know who it was so i called back and they said i was on the internet and  clicked on something about a job, but i never did that.

I got a call from 740-422-9902.  The man said that I had filled out an online survey,and that he was with WM (something - didn't catch the rest of it.).  I don't use my cell phone number for things like that!  When I told him that I had not filled out a survey, he said that he could send me job listings. I told him that I was on the Do Not Call list, and I hung up.

Left a message about jobs  said i put it in a internet survey, which I do not believe i did.

I called them back. They wanted to know my schooling. They  wanted to know if i was going back to school. 740-422-9902 was the number they called from.  sound like a scam

Same here, a person said that I have indicated on line that I was looking for a job, that he was working with a company to match jobs, did not catch the name. Did not feel comfortable given him any information. He told me his name was Joseph Piers. Thank you for posting..

I keep getting calls from this number they give you an option to take you off there call list I've done it twice and they still call they say I applied for information about a job online which I didn't do very rude people when you call them back I told them to never call again guess ill se if it works
