I'm living in Hungary and every now and then someone calls from the number above and ask me in a foreign accent if I can hear him, and if he could speak to "Mike". Then I start telling him that this is the wrong num, but I hear nothing anymore, even though my phone doesn't show me that he would've hung up. WEIRD!

Same story for 2 months sept - pct and after stopped , but last two mopths my minutes on cell phone were short for my normal use .... I am loosing minutes ? , strange...today I changed telephone plan..less minutes...and inmediately ..the calls start again today from 74950012345 asking for Miche Hutchinson

Yes,today i accept one phone call from this number: +74950012345.And one man voice asked about MIKE,I told that its wrong number,that you called to Norway...And this not first time,but before i accepted call from another numbers,but i think it was the same voice...Im very tired because of this,and its make me so so angry =(

Same thing today. "Mike Hutchinson" People need to get a life. Stupid scammers. Don't know what they are up to but I'm sure it's not cool. Losers.

Same problem here. I am in Norway. Somebody calls me repeatedly from +174950012345 and says exactly the same: "Hello can you hear me? Can I speak with Mike please?". Then I answer to say hes got the wrong number, but he speaks no more and he hungs up after about 10sec. It is a male voice speaking english with a "foreign-American" accent. I don't think its a live call, cause the voice speaks exactly in the same way, same tone, duration, etc every time. Must be an automated recording of some sort. Very strange and very annoying...

Same thing here in Austria. This guy has been calling me for more then 2 months, almost daily. And there is always the same voice, but he calls also from an UK number. It is very annoying!

It works the same as malicious mail. Answering the phone means with certain handphone models that they can install spy software, can read your phonebook and look into your notebook.
Avoid picking up the phone.
