Also recieved a call from this number. Asking me to stay on the line because it was concerning a credit card some one in the household has and that they can lower the interest on them. Total SCAM!!! Hung up after hearing part of the automated message. No one in our household has credit cards.

These people do not know when to stop. Sad to know that there are those out there who want to scam hardworking people. What can we do to stop them??

I got a call from this number too. You would think there would be some way to nail these people to the wall.

These numbers are scams. They use zeros so that they can not be traced. I have seen all zeros before not only the prefix. If you see it on your caller I D do not answer! It is a scam! be smart just ignoir it. USE YOUR CALLER ID! also these numbers can not be blocked on call blocking services. I don't even use an aswering machine anymore. I just call people back from the caller id list or use my cell :-). It should be obvious they are up to no good they have figured out a way to get around your caller id and no tracable number. Says name unavailable also a sign that it is bogus. Don't push your luck just don't answer these types of calls.
