These people called me wanting to lower my credit card rates (I don't have a credit card) so I pressed 9 to speak to a rep. I told him to stop calling me cause I had no credit card. He proceeded to tell me that I need to get one and run it up as high as I could so that he could keep his job helping me to pay it off with a lower rate. The gall of some people!!
I told him I was debt free and I would be stupid to rack up debt arbitrarily, but nontheless he laughed in my face and hung up. I will never answer these calls again.

This number is from card holder services and is a scam

The call came in while I was out. Whoever it is did not stay on the line long for it to activate my answering machine. I get calls on a seeming regular basis not just from this number, but from others that are also scams. Apparently it does no good to sign up with the Do Not Call Registry.

If that really works, it is a brilliant idea!

I got a call from this number this morning. Its from Broward Co. Fla.

You have to tell them to put you on the Do Not Call list.... say the word!

the best way to handle these people is to play along with them and give false information. they will stop calling you then because they are on commission.

It was a pre-recorded message.  I pressed 9 to speak with a live operator.  They're not with any credit card service.  They're a debt consolidation scammer.  They're only interested in people with >$5000 credit card debt.  When I told her I don't have any credit card debt she hung up on me.

I pressed '9' per the prerecorded message. I politely asked for my name and number to be removed from their system. They hung up on me.

I have created a complaint with the FTC.

We keep receiving calls from this number.  The message is always in regard to our credit
card - if I press 1 to talk to the person and start to tell them to take my name off their list, they
hang up.  

When I hear their message now I immediately hang up.....but the calls keep coming.

We are on the no call list but yet the calls keep coming.

How do we stop them?

Called at 11:02 today. I do not answer unknown callers. Left no message. My phone has a call blocking feature that will transfer them to a busy signal, that's where this number goes. Let them waste their time and money!! (I also have no credit cards)

It's "Credit Card Services" where you press 9 to lower your interest rates.  I pressed 9 and she asked it I still owe more than $4K.  I said I've never owed that much.  She said "you don't qualify" and hung up on me.  I never got to tell her to put me on the "do not call" list.

I checked the internet where it's reported there have been MANY complaints against this number - I've pressed "3" numerous times to be removed from their calling list, but continue to receive them - AND I'm on the DoNotCall Registry. Today I pressed "9" - when I told them to remove my phone number, the fella hung up on me.  WHY ISN'T SOMETHING BEING DONE ABOUT THIS ANNOYING, OBVIOUSLY DISREPUTABLE COMPANY?!  This message is being sent to every agency that can help can put a stop these scamming idiots.  
By the way, who WITH ANY SELF-RESPECT can work for this kind of "company"?!!

I recieved an unwanted call from this number and they did not leave a message.  This number can not be called.

Received a computerized call rom this number at about 10:20 AM. it was from a credit card company -something about pressing 9 to get lower interest rate. I pressed 9 to thell them I was on the DNC list and was tired of receiving calls from them . the person hung up laughing. This is about the 7th or 8th time I have received calls from this number or other number with similar message. I have reported it to the FCC but no apparent success by  them.

Receive a phone call about once week with a message about reducing the rate on a credit card. We do not have a credit card. Very annoying and taking up space on our voice mail.

Just called-wants to lower my interest rates-I don't have any credit cards -obvious scam . On the no call list-how do they get away with calling people.
Get a call like this 4-5 times a year-wish somebody could put them out of business.
