They are calling is Spanish saying I won $2000.00 dlls I asked the woman on the phone to provide me with a number where I can call back in case the calls drops then she gave me a false number.she say i won 2000.dlls and she wanted some private information.Scam!

Any of you people have any dealings with Portfolio Recovery Associates in Coral Gables? They are a very aggressive credit card collection firm full of attorneys. There must be a common thread.

Also know that DNC does not apply to international numbers.  US companies hire offshore people to computer dial numbers that pass through a US number.  I get calls from this number and 305-301-2890 FL, and 240-345-3890 MD.  Since I don't recognize the number I don't pick up but it is still VERY IRRITATING.

SCAM - SCAM - SCAM! BEWARE! This number will call you to grab your number and will bug it on their end with your service provider to help connect other callers to international numbers. They collect money for allowing that person to make the call and then leave you with the massive thousands of dollars in phone bills. Look up ROBO CALLING on google. If you do answer this call, all you will receive is either a message saying, "hold for a representative". They will put you on hold and let the person on the other end make a call with your number and phone account, then they hang up and you are left with the bill. Or, they will hang up and record the number as valid, will pass it through a virus database and will collect your information to use it in the future. HUGE, HUGE, HUGE ISSUE IN THE U.S. NOWADAYS, IT IS A NEW THING but supposedly this was a $3.12 BILLION dollar scam from 2011. My homeboy received a call from this number  today i called the number back but it was  disconnected scams

I got a call on my cell phone from this number about 6:00PM CTZ, dead air.  Seems to me there should be a little more cooperation from the our carrier to help identify these people.  I have had some reoccuring experiences with social media sites where a member will get you comfortable, ask for your phone number to text you and then begin to have text conversations.  When you actually call the number you get a synthesized voice, or on occasion you get some random business on the other side of the country.  My belief is that these clever hackers first steal your online data with contact information from your address books, then they get your phone number and somehow start using your phone number to mask their identy in order to commit idenity theft or fraud by asking you or all the members in your contact lists to send them money for one rediculous reason or another.  They prey on dating sites, facebook users and other social media pages. I know it sounds like a half baked Conspiracy Theory, but what if it's not.  If adopted the new policy of "if you don't know the number don't answer it"  and don't give your number to anyone you haven't met face to face or through a trusted friend or source.  Just Sayin.

i recived a call at about 7 am on the 8th of may from them and could not return the call it does nothing no ringing just silence

why are these people calling us they called me at 6:46 they left no message either i get calls from all sort of weird numbers

i get a call from this number twice a day, the first time i got a call i answered but no sound, they just hung up.
i did call back but it also says its disconected and after that i see that number i just ignore it.
latest call was today at 5 a.m

I swear they call me one more time I will scream.  3 time in two days.

This number has called me twice in two days and they say the same thing every time. " I am going to kill you soon" only they say it in spanish.

Calls every other day. Nobody on the other side when I answer. Fast busy when I call back. When I find out who this is, I will personally make a trip and see them face to face. They will not have a good day.

This number has called me, but if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  They didn't leave a message on voice mail.  I called the number from my employer's phone and received a recording that the number was no longer in service.
