I contacted my phone carrier and subscribed to a feature to block calls.  I tried repeatedly to block calls that I have received in the past from scammers and it would not work.  I called the phone company back and they said "oh yes, it will work" then they tried it....it didn't work.  The attendant consulted with her supervisor and they contacted their tech support and found out that the calls were being routed through the internet and no, the blocking feature would not work on those types of calls.  Now I just let it ring when I see a number I don't recognize.  I doubt we'll ever get politicians to support a law enforcement agency effort to track down these jerks making these calls since the politician jerks can call you all they want when they want your vote.

We received a call from this number today (1/28) at 4:26PM. I answered and said, "Hello?" twice and then the call was disconnected.

Frequent phone calls from 754 954-4512 on the ID as Florida.  Never anyone on the line or message left.

Dish network trying to sell service. Told them to put me on DNC list.

This caller waited until the message on the machine was nearly complete and then hung up.  On the Caller ID it states "Name Unavailable" and the phone number.  Area Code 754 is in Hollywood Florida.

Despite the FL caller id, this is a Phoenix, AZ company selling Dish Satellite TV.  The caller doesn't even have the prices or other information but tries to refer you to someone else.  He just tries to get you to answer questions about whether or not you watch movies and what type, among other things.  When I informed him I was on the National Do Not Call registry, he claimed to know nothing about it.  He then asked if I was interested in Dish TV or not.  I said No, I'm off air which is FREE.  Why should I pay for what I can have for free?

Caller identified  themselves as Dish TV.  Wanted to sell me the service.  When I asked about a network that they did not have PAC12 they just hung up.  No thank you very much.

Just received a call from 754 954 4512. My phone ID read "Fort Lauderdale."  I do not know anyone in Ft. Lauderdale, so I did not answer. Now that I have looked up the number, I see that many others are being called from this number. What is the trick to blocking these types of calls?

I explained that this is the 4th time they have called in 9 days.  I have told them every time to remove my name from their list and quit calling me. 8:45pm and they are calling me.  I DONT WANT DISH NETWORK AND AND AGGRESSIVE AS THEIR TELEMARKETING IS I DONT THINK ILL EVER WANT IT.  I had just fallen asleep.

I get calls from this # all of the time DO NOT ANSWER if you do not know the #.
Waste of time with the DO NOT CALL LIST.

This number has been calling several weeks now. No one leaves a message and when I do answer there is nothing.  Finally one time when I didn't answer but clicked talk a man finally said "Hello".

I finally picked up the phone and the foreign speaking person said they were from Dish Network.   I explained I already had Dish.   She asked if I thought I was paying too much.   I told her that I was satisfied with the cost and SHE HUNG ON ME.  Needless to say, I can bet they were not from Dish.   This is just another phone number added to my DO NOT ANSWER list.

IDK....no one there.....makes me mad....can't even tell them off...I've been getting these calls for 2 weeks now.  No one there.

Notice: The phone company allows companies to pay extra money to get your number to show up on their call ID regardless even if you pay for a private number. www.spoofcard.com is a site I use to pay these people back. Just got the call from 754-954-4512: No one speaking. Caller ID said "Name Not Found". I put 'em on speaker phone and mute. They hung up after 14 seconds. If you can get them to hang on for atleast one minute the nbr can be traced and found. It takes 3 calls from the same nbr in order to file a complaint with "do not call".... Usually by then they change their phone nbr.

This # has called several times and you hear breathing and then they hang up.  Creepy people!!
