I received a call from this number today and the Caller ID stated "Fifth Third".  Tried to call it back because I am a Fifth Third customer.  The other end stated that they number was unable to receive calls.  Bingo, either telemarketer or robo-call.

Called Fifth Third about this.  They cannot do anything about it.

Interesting that the calling party was able to attach the "Fifth Third" Caller ID to that number.  Pretty clever.

For the past few years, I have Google "ALL" suspicious phone numbers.  Now I will be suspicious of Caller ID phone numbers that I do not know which is a shame because Caller ID was a good line of defense.

And...telemarketers and survey companies, etc...are allowed to call between 8 am and 9 pm...So, of course they utilize this entire time slot.

This number IS from Fifth Third.  They conduct surveys all the time about your experiences banking with them.  They "strive for all 5's".  That is their slogan for surveys.  I receive these calls all the time and take the surveys.  They are based in Cincinnati but they probably use a survey center located in Virginia.

____I called back this number to check who the owner is, and it answered via recorded message that it is Converges Marketing. I was told they are from 53rd bank conducting survey at 7:21 pm. I will call 53rd tomorrow that somebody is falsifying to represent them. Let this big bank ran after this "bank employees".

Just got a call on the cell phone tonight. No message.. I called back and the voice message identified themselves as being Convergys.com  Encouraged me to visit them on the web.  All recorded.  I will call Convergys in Cinn. Ohio tomorrow to find out what is up.  And post an update here.  I have a 5/3 account.

Yep, I have a 5/3 account. I am pleased with 5/3 except these stupid phone calls I get. I get calls about everything. Let a payment be past the due date but  not LATE and some foreigner calls you wanting you to pay by phone. I checked with my local bank and yep, it was legit, but gee...over board. I blocked a number from 5/3rd, now I am getting calls from this number. Guess I'll have to block it too.

My Fifth Third debit card was compromised by a vendor & Fifth Third quickly sent out new cards... I have no problems with Fifth Third. It is interesting how many people have this bank & are getting calls...

Starting in May 2012, I have been getting scam calls from "Fifth Third" from # 855-877-3881 - search that # to see my comments.  This is not Fifth Third.  Based on their recording, which asks for your social to be entered to be served faster, this has to be scam.   No reputable firm on the planet would ever ask for a full social via a recording (or voice for that matter).   Maybe the last 4 would be asked for, but even that is almost always requested verbally.

Then a few weeks later (June 2012) I started getting calls from 757-209-2008.

This has to be a related scam.  

I can't believe that the FCC and FTC cannot catch this type scum almost instantly.  With smartphone and IP technology now, this should be so easy and fast to do (automatic routing, tracing, anti-spam type measures).   Even with VPN's and many other techniques, these people can be caught.  Several billion smart phones all "voting" on whether something is s scam should be a pretty good system of catching this type of criminal.   Maybe we'll see progress in this area sometime soon.  But not holding my breath.

We have a business account with Fifth Third Bank.  Got a call from this number asking whether we were satisfied with the bank, what the bank could do better and so on.  It was just a survey.

Claiming to be 5/3 Bank, and wanted to do a recent survey on my last visit to 5/3.  I asked them which branch the were speaking of and they told me a town that was close to me, then I hung up.  This has to be a scam.

This number called but I let it go to voicemail since I didn't recognize it. They didn't leave any message.

Got a call left no message.

Someone called me from the 757 209 2088 number at  7:46 pm on my cell phone saying they wanted to take a survery about my recent visit to Fifth Third Bank. I have not made a "recent visit" to the bank where anyone would know about it. SCAM????????????/

Said he was conducting a survey for Fifth Third Bank, but I would not participate.

This number called my phone.  I am on the "do not call" list.  How did this get through?

These calls are annoying and you must be one of these idiots who works for 5/3 making these intrusive calls. Jerk.

It's not a debt collector because I've always paid my bills on time in full each time.  Caller ID does not ID this phone number at all, so if it was 5th 3rd bank, it would have showed up as so.

Caller didn't say anything when it called.

Calling daily now 9pm at night.  I have not answered because they are not a recognized number.  I don.t owe anyone. if they are a scam why is the government not going after them!!!!!!!

My wife an I just opened an account with 5/3rd yesterday, and we get a call from this number today, no Message left, so I don't know if if was them or not.  Using them as our bank while we move to another state, will probably drop them at the first opportunity once we settle in our new location.

Received a call from this number on 1/26/12 at 6:41 pm.  Call went to my voicemail - caller didn't leave a message.  I don't know the number
