Below is a template of the Cease and Desist letter I used to get rid of these fools.  I sent it CERTIFIED and REGISTERED and the calls stopped roughly 4-days after it was sent.  I received the return receipt (as my proof they received it) in the mail about 6-days later.

This will serve as your legal notice under provisions of federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), to cease all communication with me in regard to the phone number referenced above. If you fail to heed this notice, I will file a formal complaint against you with the Federal Trade Commission who is responsible for enforcement, the States Attorney General office and/or the American Collectors Association.

We have decided that we do not desire to work with a collection agency under any circumstances. We will contact the original creditor to resolve this matter directly, as circumstances warrant.

Call repeatedly. Getting tired of it. They get to my message and hang up!

I got a call from this number at 7:40 P.M. They left a message for an unknown person. The funny thing is that the message said that I wasn't to listen to the message unless I was that person. Then it said to call their number. There have been so many calls in the last few months that are either no name no number or just hang up. This is really getting bizarre. There are several calls like this each day.

PITA RECORDED MESSAGE WHICH I HANG UP ON BUT CALLING INCESTANTLY SO NO WAY TO ADVISE THEM TO CEASE & DESIST CALLING MY NUMBER AS THE PERSON THEY ASK FOR DOES NOT LIVE HERE.  TIRED OF THEIR CALLS AND AM REPORTING TO THE FCC AND THE FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN TALLAHASSEE.

COMPLAIN TO THE VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL ALSO AS IT SEEMS THE CALLS ORIGINATE FROM THERE.  I AM.

You must send a letter telling them to stop the harassment, then send a complaint to the Washington Attorney General and your state attorney general.
They have had over 361 complaints against them and many people complain they call the wrong phone number or person. They will not stop.
I just started receiving phone calls for a person I never heard of and told them that person does not live here. Next day same thing. Now I get unknown caller.

called my land line 4 times in 4 days, always hang up if i answer.  i dont have any mobile or sprint accounts.

They keep calling me asking for my son I old them he does not live here.I asked the caller Julie where they got my number? She said she don't know but she said the company's name is RPM call back number 800-935-9935. I told them Don't call me back she said "your just going to leave him hang your real nice" then she hung up.

I just rec'd this phone a few days ago (a gov't free cell phone w/ minutes), and all the sudden I get TONS of calls from this phone #.  It's crazy!  They answer as RPM, a collection agency I believe.

put your number on the do not call for that number you can also ask your phone company to block the number usually you can set it up through your computer.

Here's what I do there's a list you can put yourself on called a "Do not call" if they call you again the agency that has you listed can sue them for up to $10,000 this costs you nothing it comes under "The right to privacy act" if you don't want to do that just call them back and tell them you've reported them to the local police, FBI seems to get their attention quicker and tell them  you persist I go to the authorities is this harassment bordering on "Terrorism"

They constantly call, at least once a day. My caller ID reads "RECEIVABLESPERF"; they are calling for someone I've never heard of.

Getting calls from this number several times a day, they are a collection agency for Sprint. They call, let it ring about three times and then hang up. My resolution to this was to call from my number over and over and over and repeatedly say "STOP CALLING MY NUMBER" then hanging up and repeating it. The lady "Stacy" kept answering until finally she just let it ring and ring... Haven't had a call since. It's been a week and a half.

The problem is that they are calling my wifes phone that is provided by her employer.  Her company is a large Home Care Agency. (large enough to go after them). This number is a debt collector agency.  Per the person I spoke with.  Per him they are based in Seatle Washington.  My wife has never used this number for anything other than work. When they call across state lines (we r in DE) that now involves federal laws also.  In DE anyone can file a civil suit for less than $100.  The problem is the enforcement cost more in the long run than the fines/penalties.

I answered it and the guy said guess who? in a really high pitched voice and before I could even answer who, he just screamed ITS THE WEINER GOBLIN into the phone and hung up.

My experience is identical to Janet's from October 8th., right down to the television noise in the background! Would'nt bother me so much except they call my cell at all hours... see excerpt below;

receive repeated phone calls from this number.  Caller ID says "Williamsburg VA".  Phone rings, I pick up, they hang up.  Happens every time.   Last time this happened I called back and spoke to a live person (didn't catch person's (female) name or company name--TV was on).  I explained I was calling because of repetitive calls/hang-ups.

I turned off my Sprint phones in July and they proceeded to bill me until September.  Then they sent the bill to an address I had not lived at for about 10 years.  Now I'm arguing with customer service about the bill. I'm guessing they've messed up my credit. I need to look into it.  

I only left because they were trying to bill me for a bunch of things that I didn't sign up for. I asked them to cxl and it would show up the next month for even more. They couldn't ever provide proof that I signed up etc. Horrible service.

Just received a random call from them. Like other annoying callers, picked it up and hung up on them. Problem solved.

I explained with the Sprint that they refuse to rebate $50.00 on my contract with them that is the reason I terminated my phones with Sprint (I have another 3 phones completed the contract except the one they refused to rebate ) In contract I signed I agree to completed with their promise. They did not do their promise I terminated with them and leave $50.00 that they owned me. This make our even. Please do not disturbe us any more. Thanks

These people keep calling. I have told them (repeatedly) to stop calling. My next step is to file telephone harassment.

I got a call on my cell phone, no one was on the line!

I read a while ago that this number is a collection company for Sprint.  I get 3-4 phone calls a day from these people every day.  They never leave a message.  Since I have never had a Sprint phone or account, I refuse to answer their calls.  They can continue to get my voice mail.
