Rachael and her cohorts are bottom feeders.  Pick up then hang up as if auto disconnect.
ID comes through as Name Unavailable as they can't spell Do***e Bags, which is what they are for all accounts.

Regarding calls from 757 264-1254
I got my first of 5 calls about 3 weeks ago.  My computer was being hacked and e-mails were coming in from friends on my mailing list saying "Pat, this e-mail didn't sound like you, so I didn't open it, I think you have been hacked," (or words to that effect). Not long after that I got a call from a NY area code. The man on the other end (had an Indian accent) said that he understood that I was having very serious multiple problems with my computer and he represented a Tech company calling to get my computer straightened out.  I ask for the name of his company and he never really did answer my question, but did indicate that he was connected with Microsoft and was more or less assigned to my case.
I was suspicious from the start, and asked to speak to a supervisor.  Another man was put on the line and I did talk with him (another Indian accent) for a while.  I was still not convinced they were on the up and up and thought they were probably just scamming me. The first guy said "what will it take to convince you that we are here to help?" He suggested that he contact the Microsoft represent and we had a three way conversation. Then he suggested that he show me right on my computer that I had over 3,500 hacks.  He had me hit a few keys and before I realized what I had done he was into my computer showing me around and telling me that I needed this special program he had to clean up my computer. If I didn't someone could get into my financial accounts and wipe me out. As he put it, "It happens all the time.  "Now he was getting down to the nitty gritty of the call. According to him, the program I needed was $99 and I could put it on a credit card. I was right, is was a scam Duh.

The whole point of the call was to get a CC number.  I told him thanks, but NO thanks & hung up.  As you can tell I'm not very savvy when it comes to computers. Knowing they have been in my computer and not knowing for sure what all the damage they can do has left me very worried and concerned.
I had the computer worked on and thought everything was ok.

I have had three other calls from them (or people that sounded like them) and I just hung up.
Then last Saturday (Jan. 4, 2014) while working on my computer I had another one of their calls and  I just exploded at them & then hung up.  Later that day I went back to work on the computer and I could hear voices (like a radio station and bits and pieces of private conversations and noises all jumbled up). It was nothing I had running and I couldn't get rid of it unless I turned off my sound.  I was told by friends that it was probably a virus of sounds running on a continuous loop. I don't know if this problem is related to the original one, but it sure makes me wonder. My computer is back in the shop being worked on. Taking it all down and putting it back together again for the second time.
This afternoon I had another call this time from 757 264-1254.  I didn't answer.  My son researched the 757 264-1254 number & told me about your website. That is why I am writing you on this borrowed computer. I hope someone can track these guys down and put a stop to this.
FYI.  A friend from my mailing list has been getting these calls also. His latest call was about the same time as mine this afternoon

That's exactly correct. The "card services" scammers, and many others, use a "robodialer" which dials numbers in a sequential order, until they reach a person that has a credit card, and then proceed to attempt to fool them into giving them the card number, so they can thoroughly cheat the unsuspecting victim.

It's funny that you mention that. Someone pretending to be from Microsoft used the same tactic against my sister. She called from India in the middle of the night. What the caller didn't know was that my brother is a security expert for Microsoft. She told the caller to call back in 5 minutes, giving him time to set up his computer. When she called back and tried to walk my sister through the security checks, my brother tracked them, and informed them that he was reporting them for fraud. The girl hung up immediately. When we called back the line was disconnected.

First of all don't answer any calls from numbers you're not familiar with, especially ones coming from out of your local area. The answering machine is a good idea, but NEVER return a call with the intention of requesting a scammer to remove your number from their calling list--they will not stop, and most likely the calls will INCREASE. You can also report the callers as violators of the do not call registry, but seeing as the scammers use all spoofed (false") numbers, the results of doing so are questionable. Setting the answering machine to pick up after a longer ringing cycle (maybe 6 rings) might help, as the scammers usually abandon the call after 4 or 5 rings. The people calling you are not good people, or in any way a legitimate business, they are mainly drug addicts, out to cheat us, in order to support their disgusting habits.Good luck!

I received a call today as well. I find it funny that they would mark me because I closed ALL of my various card accounts years ago, and have not applied for anything else. They clearly are not organized and have no idea who has cards and who doesn't.

I get this call 757-254-1254  2-4 times a month.  I have tried the button they tell me will stop the calls; I have let them go to answering machine; I have pushed button for customer service and tell them I have NO credit card debt and I do NOT want any, please place me on do-not-call-list.  They never stop. Now that I walk with a cane and thyroid cancer has taken my voice, I do NOT want there calls coming to my home.  If ANYONE knows how to make them stop, please post it.  These people have plagued me for more than TWO YEARS.

Do you mean to say the little old ladies at AARP were able to track these idjits down but the best & brightest in federal government still can't figure out how to nail them?

Yeesh.

I guess if we liked our Do Not Call list, we weren't ever really going to get to keep that either, were we?

Some folks have had luck with blocking their calls, but of course each new spoofed number the scammers use must be blocked, and over time, they have used hundreds of phoney numbers. Others have used the tactic of answering and wasting the scammer's time with false information, in order to get off their calling list altogether. This tactic seems to work, but might take answering 2 or 3 of their calls. An example of wasting their time can be found at 800Notes 813 444 5700, page 4. Personally I feel the most likely way to "eventually" stop the calls is by informing people likely to be scammed, thus cutting off the scammer's sources of income, and making the annoying calls unprofitable. Good luck!

Enforce the law and prosecute these slimeballs, FCC.

That's your job, remember?

The unemployment rate can't be so high now that you've all forgotten what a job even is, can it?

Just in case: a job is all the stuff you agreed to do for the people in exchange for the taxpayer-funded paycheck and fat federal employee benefits package your crooked union got for you.

I live in California and received this call at 7 AM our time on a Saturday morning.   When I call back, the number is not in service.   I wish our government was not so inept and feckless and could do something about it.  The phone companies are of little help since it is a significant source of revenue for them.

Hi "Henry".  YES, there IS proof. If you would care to study articles in the Nov. 2013 Readers Digest, and the OCT.- NOV. 2012 issue of the AARP Bulletin you may become more enlightened. Many other print and electronic media have also mentioned their drug connections. Some people, simply, for "some unknown reason" don't want to acknowledge the facts.
