This number is linked to a company called and calmed to be Goldberg and Osmond. They tell me I own a debt and I tell them this debit has been paid over three years ago. They infom me I am mistaken and that I own them money. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. I sent this company money over three years ago and now they want me to send more money for the same debit and additional debts that don't are not true. I informed them of their mistake but I realize now that they are a scam. I am now reporting this telephone number to FTC. Unfortually, this is a lesson I have learned the hard way. Contactin the FTC will give me ways to know when a debt collector is fake or real!

keep receiving calls on my cell phone (in my maiden name) for my husband.  attitude and threatening type messages.  she leaves 877-704-9452 as cell phone says "Bobbie", as her call back.   He does not have any unpaid debts.  I've heard On-Star has done this type of thing to keep people enrolled, we only had free trial and one 3-month promo paid at time of call.........the 757-271-1549 number that is caller ID, is CRA (I called it back) and is recording to hold, yeah right, take your time, I'll wait......

I just got the same call but from the same number the person they were calling for just gave them any old number wich happend to be mine.It's really a collection agency in canada using other area codes so you will pick up.

A woman keeps on calling me first on my cell phone and then on my land line, won't say what she wants, only tries to play games and keep me on the phone so I hang up.
She said my ss# and this really bothers me!!!

I keep getting calls from this company, I am told by a Mrs Johnson that I am stephanie and I owe her money.  tried to let them know I am not stephanie and I do not know a stephanie.  was told that i needed to shut up and listen.  mrs johnson then told me that he supervisor (Mr gibson) would tlak to me.  he came on the line and told me to stop lying, that he had already contacted the cops and they would e there in a minute to arrest me for lying.  excuse me!  I am not stephanie, and he told me that the city police would be there soon to haul me to jail for lying.  I dont live inside city limits, and I am not lying.  Mr gibson asked for my checking account number and other personal information, but when I attempted to ask why and what for...he refused to give me information just kept telling me I would soon be in jail for lying....i hung up.  shall see if he calls again.

i would like to have this number reported ...i have told this person that no one owns the phone with that name..and they continue to call and when i dont answer they dont leave a message

in early 2001 I went to a dentist in Beaverton, Oregon. I had a root canal and paid him my co-pay which was $334.23.    In 2004 I got a collections letter in the mail I tried to track down the source but the company claimed to have no info on the origin of the debt just stating that I owed the debt, then offering be a "deal" to pay it off for 50%. I pulled out my old check books and managed to match up the exact amount to a check for to the dentist. I had to fax in a copy of my check to prove I had payed, they said it would be removed form their system and marked as payed.........

Now in January 2011 I get a call from CRA claiming I owe money and its that same amount again $334.23

SCAM CORPORATION!

They fish around other debt collectors and will buy something like $2,000,000 of "debts" for $50,000 and then use hardcore scare tactics and bullying and threats to get people to pay them money that is not legally owed.

This number called my cell phone this morning asking for my ex that i broke up with over a year ago. I gave them his current number. OH WELL. Told them to delete my number out of their system. So they better not call me anymore!

This person called and kept saying the person they were looking for had this # and the truth was it is not theirs. The lady answered and was very serious and straight to the point I hung up on them and the # was 757-271-1549 and it was very annoying

Got a call from this company asking for my son.  Told them he not here don't know where he is
and before I could ask them to remove my number from their file they hung. VERY RUDE!

Got a call from some lady looking for me.Of course since i didnt recognize the number i said he wasnt in would you like to leave a message.She proceeded to let me know they needed a statement from me but didnt specify for what.When i asked what company they were all she gave me was the letters CRA.So i asked her what that meant and what  they were about.She immediately cut me off saying she wasnt done yet.She told me to right a case number down and phone and to have him call immedietly.By this time i was like look im in the middle of something and hung up.I dont know who these people are and but i thought it was against the law for companys to make calls like this.Anyways if they keep calling im not going to answer cause I know its just B.S.!

When you get a call, demand that they cease all calls, and that they send documentation of any such claimed debt to the address of record. Make sure that they tell you of the address of record, for this will tell you if they simply have the wrong person. BUT DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO.
If it is you that they are searching for, don't say so, simply wait for the docuentation and look it over. CRA often tries to collect on debts that have expired.
There is a great document within Microsoft Word that debt collectors hate, but is very affective. If you send it certified mail to any collector that is attempting to collect a invallid debt, it will NEARLY aways stop them.

They have called me for 2 years looking for a Robert Williams.  I have repeatedly told them to remove my number from their database because I have had this number for over 3 years and do NOT have anyone by that name that would even have use of this number.  They continue to call back.

I got my first call from "CRA" today, of course I said I wasn't home. When I asked what the call was in regards to, Jason said, "Lisa would know."  When I asked what CRA was, Jason said CRA, nothing more than the letters for the name of the company.  Just more BS to not answer the phone for!

I continue to get these calls, they ask for someone who I have no idea who it is.  I tried to tell Crystal maladay that, but she told me I needed to just be quiet and let her talk.  She continued to tell me that I could not cover for this other person and that she thought I was really that person trying to rip off her company.  She then told me that I had to talk to supervisor.  Okay, supervision Mrs Johnson came on and began to tell me that she would have me arrested for lying about who I was and trying to "rip off good people". I told to to be sure to do that and hung up.  Surprising they did not realize thatt they were asking for a MAN and I am female with a very female voice.

Got a call from this number, I don't answer calls from unknowns, that's why I have an answering machine.  No message so i guess it's not important enough for me to bother with.
If it's not important enough for them to leave a message it just isn't important at all.
