I have had several customers in the VA market call and state that they received a text for this number 7572973839 just stating "HEY", I believe these text are a number finding message.  If you text back you not only let this number know that your number is viable but also that you can send and receive text messages.  The best advice would be to not answer the text and block it from texting you again.

I got the same text that just said "HEY" and the text signature was "living single"    a little screwy if you ask me

I got the same message stating "hey. im brandy. who are you? <living~single>

I got the same message stating Hey it was like 1:00 in the morning I asked who it was they said Nikki... Weird!

I got the same thing.  Around 7:00 this morning it just said "Hey."  I messaged back asking who it was, and they said it was "Nikki.  Who are you?" and when I replied back they didn't say anything else.  Weird.

I just got this message saying hey, when I reply, they said they were Amber

same thing.  twice today i get a txt n she says shes amber but won't answer the phone.  it's ridiculous

I just got a random text from this number...I know its a norfolk, va number but how did they get mine and why are they texting me...

ive had this same prob for like the past 6 months......it started out with them texting my b/f's fone saying hey like all u guys are saying and then nothing else.....no response when i said whos this nothing! so i called the number with my fone no response....finally a response and they told me they had the wrong # so that was the end. like 3 months later it started up again. they just did it 2day and said [amber. who's this? lmao ;)*]  idk who this is but there needs to be some kind of action taked towards this number.....i dont have time for games!!!!!!

Yeah I was taking a test and thought it was a number from this chick in class who is also named brooke, I got the "Who is this, this is Brooke." too. I replied just to be curious so now I'm like wtf?

Someone texted my husband's phone and said "Who is this, this is Brooke." I looked over our phone bill and realized someone has been texting him for 3 weeks from this #. After he sends a message back no one replies. Until I looked up the # I was on the verge of thinking he was talking to another woman. I wonder what the purpose of the texts are??????

Has anyone got a text message from a name JJ.  It did not come up as a number but actually as if it was a contact in my phone already.. can anyone relate to a situation like this?

My mom received a random text message from this number earlier in the week then I got the same message. All it says is -Hey.

I received a random text message from this number as well...all it said was -hey.  I didn't respond...just read the text...I did a search on the number and found it is a Portsmouth, VA number...

Who is the world is the text from.  I felt that it was suspicious and didn't do anything other than view it.  I didn't respond or anything but someone needs a life.  I know that!

I got a text at like 6 this mornin from that same number!

I just got my first random text. I don't know who this is or how they got my #. Interesting...

constant text messages from caller, also, when I tried to call & let this caller know they must have a wrong number & to please stop texting me, they will not answer the phone on their "end".
