Just got call from (757) 301-4873--second one today. They didn't leave message.

And why the heck would a debt collection company threaten you with a restraining order? That makes no sense. Like, at all. A restraining order means I can't come near you. Okay, fine.

There was a msg on my voicemail saying this 5199005023. You are being sued. You must call or have or ur attorney call. They never said who they r calling for. I am not sure consider this as scam

SCAM.  AN INVESTIGATOR BLAKE CALLED STATING THERE WAS A COMPLAINT AGAINST ME WITH A CASE NUMBER.  THAT I WAS THE RESPONDANT IN A COURT ACTION.  I MUST APPEAR.  I NEEDED TO FORWARD THIS TO MY ATTORNEY.  THERE IS A RESTAINING ORDER AGAINST ME.  I HAVE 24-48 HOURS TO OPPOSE IT.  HOPEFULLY NO ONE FALLS FOR THIS CAUSE WHEN SOMEONE GETS A RESTAINING ORDER THEY DON'T CALL YOU.  THEY JUST SERVE YOU.

These people keep calling me and saying I have a legal action against me.. then I try to return the call and get a message that they can't be reached.. total scam!

HAD ME FREAKING FOR A MINUTE TIL I FOUND THIS SITE! I HATE STUPID PEOPLE! CALLED NUMBER BACK N SAID IT COULD NOT GO THROUGH! SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE WAS GETTING A CALL FROM THAT 757-301-4745 NUMBER. MINE WAS A RECORDING THAT WENT TO MY VOICE MAIL.

a recorded phone call came to my home stating there was a judgement against me also involving a restraining order. when I tried to return the phone call a recording prompted me to press 1 then music started to play. no one ever came to the phone. I hung up and called again the same thing happened again then it asked you to leave a message. I never talked to a human voice. I only received this call once but can not find out who this company is or where the call came from. who are these people and what do they want? do I need to contact my lawyer?

I am totally game. These people have called me non stop about a debt I "owe schwanns" for get this..."catering services!!!" I cant make the harrassment stop...

If I can sue the b*****ds.. I'm game.

While checking the messages received during my vacation I got a call from a Sherry Parker with the same information, same number (757) 301-4745 and a case number regarding a complaint filed against me.  Thank you all for posting the information I needed to realize this was a scam.  How can they possibly continue this activity if police departments have been notified by so many of you? Again, thank you for the information that cleared up many of my questions and put my mind at ease.

For anyone that isn't aware of this.  If this were real, the court system is required to serve a warrant or a subpoena in person.  You will not be contacted by telephone.  No one can call you or intimidate you by phone.  For one thing, check out how ludicrous this is!  First, if you do have this problem, the legal system will have all the information they need to locate you, and you will know it and they will show up on your doorstep.  Second, if you are an innocent victim you notice there is a major discrepancy between fact and scam you will know that as well.  Get my point?  This is a bottom feeding fear based money sucking scam!

I have reported these scumbags to the Federal Trade Commission.  I think they are seeking out old debt, third party long gone debts, paid or not,  and using them to extort money from anyone who will give it to them.  They need to be stopped.  It's not only class action, it's an illegal scam!

I got a call listed as "private number".  Voicemail stated I am in a great deal of trouble with a restraining order pending and I need to have my attorney call within 24 hours.  Left a return number to the Cayman Islands which is out of service.  I waited until they called again, an hour later.  It was "Amy Williams".  I simply asked what kind of trouble I was in and as she tried to threaten me with legal action, I started breathing heavily and asked what they would do to me?  Will they cane me?  Chain me up?  Punish me?  Then I made moaning sounds.  "Amy Williams" made a noise of disgust and promptly hung up.  Doubt they will be calling again :)

I would be more than happy to join in any suit against these people.  The have left several vm on my cell and my grandmothers machine.

How did you file the lawsuit and where, I was also scamed by the same people, same tel. and same name.the problem is that I gave out my debit card info to make payments and when I tried to contact them to negotiate again, all I got was music, for 2 weeks.  So i got suspecious and I found this sites.  My bank acct is closed, but I do want to sue.

Sherry Clark called my brother and said I had a Restriaining Order on me,one problem I have in and out of the hospital for the past 4 years and have never been married. The Bi*** is Nuts. Monday I going to the States ATT. And see what I can get Done

this number called my mom telling her to have me call this 757 number which freaked me out because im living in mexico now so i called that number today and she was telling me i have a dept of 640 and i was like what and i said is there anyway i can pay monthly she said hold on when she got back on the phone she said if i pay 272 today my dept will be wiped away and thangs so i told her ill call right back because i had to call my husbend to get the card info so when i called back she gave me a number and said she was going to connect me to the line were i can give them my card number but as i waited for someone to answer my mins ran out so i called free by use magic jack for about 40mins and nobody ever answer me so i got a little confused so i looked up the companys name and i saw this page and i was so pissed off and happy at the same time piss because how are there so many uncaring people out in this world that can just freak people out like this and try to steal there money and wasting my time but also i was happy cause i did not give her any info of our card number thank you GOD so after i saw this i called the bank and which i was givin numbers to call to get info of what was going on.. they help me out and told me thanks GOD my mins ran out when hey did cause they was about to steal my money!!!!! man they need to catch these woman and men that are doing this its crazy how much info they can get on each person.. pissed!!!!

Received the same call yesterday. I called the number and when I wouldn't verify any info for the guy he got mad and said he was sending me a subpoena. I told him to go ahead. Complete scam

Same complaint as everyone else. Caller was "Sherry Parker". She was leaving a message on my answering machine, but when I picked up the call, there was no "live" response.
She said she was a special investigator... my wife had so much time to respond or there would be a restraining order placed against her.  Pretty much identical to the message many others have reported...
When I called back, I was put on hold, but didn't stay on line, so I never actually talked to anyone.

I received the same phone call yesterday from Inspector Rhonda. She claims I have to appear in court with my attorney and their is a restraining order against me. Thank you for reporting this information on the web. The number on my caller id was from a private number.

A Stephanie Green called and told me that I had a complaint filed against me and that I'd better call the Global Legal Group at (757) 301-4745.  When I did, I spoke with someone who identified himself as "David Roberts" and told me that I owe $1,254.00 to HSBC Capital One credit card.  I know this is fraud immediately because I never banked with HSBC and never had a Capital One card.  He proceeded to tell me that the account was open in 2003 and charged up to 2009.  When I asked him where the court action was filed and the case number, he told me that the file was to be filed that night "literally."  Unfortunately, he scammed the wrong person as I am a licensed attorney in the state.  I told him that he was violating the FCC and FTC regulations and it was a crime to fraudulently extort money.  When I pressed him harder, he said he would send me the paperwork to substantiate the claim but of course he never would.  I then telephoned the Norfolk VA police department and spoke with a police regarding this particular outfit and they were aware of it.  The police informed me that Global Legal Group was not located anywhere there in the city and the 150 street address was nothing but a vacant Wells Fargo Bank.  I also reported to the FCC and FTC concerning this scam.  So be careful, if someone calls about a lawsuit or a threat of some violations, don't fall for it because no one will call after filing a valid lawsuit.  Since they knew my identify, address and part of my SSN, I also requested a fraud alert with the credit agencies to be sure they do not sell, trade or use the information illegally.  BTW, when I called back and spoke with David Roberts, he told me not to call again otherwise he would file a restraining order.  I told him I welcome that because then I will know who is behind this so I will take legal action myself.

I got a call yesterday from TLG and a woman named Carly Nash with the same legal complaint lines, restraining order, 48 hours, etc.. that everyone else has mentioned.  She gave a case number too.  She gave the 757-301-4745 phone number as a contact and I was very worried.  Glad to hear it is a scam.  Looks like they are going by TLG now.  I am in the midwest.

My call was the same. Sarah Reid representing Global Legal Firm said someone had filed a complaint against me but she had no details. I should call 757-301-4745 with an affidavit number.

I did not cal the number but did file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

My call was like all the others.... from 'special investigator' Kaylee Lee about a complaint against me, had 24-48 hours to call back, something about a restraining order, some number case # H something.  So glad I found this site.  I've filed a complaint on the FTC site.  They called my former in-laws too and left same message for me.

Received the same call today, they left a message with a case number and told me I had 48 hours to get back with them. She spoke really fast and didn't say the message was directed to my name, since I'm receiving a lot of phones calls that are all for the previous owner of my phone, I don't pick up calls from unknown phone number. She left the phone nr 757 301 4745 as well. After reading all the above messages, I will not worry about this anymore. Thanks.

I would like everyone here to know that I had to go through hell today.  They left a message on my landlord's voice mail that I have restraining order against me which needs to be resolved in 48 hours, and have to show up in the court for the hearing date.... For this reason, I should call the global legal group.  However they never answered the phone, but I did leave them the message that I am confused because I have done nothing to someone to get a restraining order.    I spent half of my day worrying about who could have put a restraining order against me...I got suspicious and googled the number and their company name and found out they are scam artists.  

I went to the police and reported them. the police also checked the case number they gave me ,which was found to be false.  I would like to report this company to FBI and if possible sue them for putting me through so much trauma.  If some of the individuals are ready to do so as a group I am in.  Kindly note my email almasyousuf7@gmail.com.  Through our collective effort let us put them in Jail for especially traumatizing our elderly citizens.  Thanks!

Our call was like the majority of others --  "Special Investigator" Kaylie Lee (?) saying a complaint had been filed against my husband; 24-48 hours to call back; could be a restraining order; affidavit number. Admittedly, it shook me up at first because my husband is one of the most honest and conscientious people you'd ever be lucky enough to meet. I'm so thankful to everyone who took the time to write about these vermin. Now I'm just mad. And yes, I'm reporting them.

these people have called my home and my cell phone multiple times. when asked for proper i.d. they tell me its global legal group from virginia. when i request copies of paper work they want my address and social sec. number. when i refuse to give it to them  cuz i figure they should have it they get insulting and threatining of legal issues and going to court. never do they provide paperwork.

My brother got this call and called me with the number and the accout information that was given to him. When I called I was upset cause I knew I had no issues with anyone for a restraining order to be put on me. I was told this was for a payday loan. This is crazy!!! I got this call last year and gave them money because I thought this was a true debt they got over $400 out of me last time. I went to the internet this time to get more information on the company and saw these stories. TRUE SCAM!!!
