I received several calls from this number. No message left. So I finally called it back. In my area it was Cox Communications. After waiting what seemed to be forever, NO ONE ANSWERED, so I am just blocking the number.

Anybody getting calls from this phone number?

I have been receiving calls with no message from this number nearly every day since about 1/30/2014. It seemed like a telemarketer call so I did not answer. Any caller who calls repeatedly but never leaves a message is always suspicious to me. I never answer or call these numbers back. A legitimate caller will leave a message. I hope this caller will eventually stop calling. Otherwise, I will have to block the caller and report them.

Received a call tonight from Cox offering free HBO but could not take the call due to an emergency. Called back later and Cox did not honor it. bogus!!

Rcvd call from this number at 7:30pm. I didn't recognize number so I didn't answer. No one left a message. From notes on this site it appears to be a telemarketer so I made the right decision not to answer. Thanks to everyone who contributed information.

I have received several calls from the number, if I did not pick up, no message was left.  They also identified themselves as being from Cox Communications and verified my information and account info and offered discounts.  I also believe this call was fraudulent.

I received a call from this number.  The gentleman stated he was calling from Cox cable.  He had my name, address and phone number.  He stated that they were calling to see if they can give their customers discounts on the bill.  He verified that my cable and internet bill is about $160 month, then he said he would put me on hold to talk to his manager about discounts.  The "hold" had no waiting music, and the caller never came back to the call.  I hung up after a couple minutes.  I believe the call was fraudulent.

I don't want to receive any call from this number again.

This number called me earlier and I just called them back. It lead me straight to Blue Ridge Communication's promotional department, they're "saying thank you" to all their customers by offering HBO and Cinemax for only $13.95 a month for the first three months and you can cancel any time. The lady said I can call Blue Ridge back at 800-CABLE-77 three months from now, on Oct. 13, and cancel the channels without any penalties. I took them up on the offer.

Number called me too but didn't leave a message (despite fact I was talking to a human). Called # back using a separate line. Gives a standard recording saying "Thank you for calling Blue Ridge Communications."
