Secret caller, I will beat the life out of you for scamming all these military kids.

Hey Guys,
That's a scam from Metropolitan Education. Back in 2007, I was on deployment. My wife was pregnant and by herself in VB. And, she got that same "Final Notice thing" the one you guys were talking about right after she came back from hospital from labor. Well, she thought, it was me sending a package or something. So, she called. An old guy showed up. No package. He sold some books a.k.a "garbage". Well, my wife fell for that junk. Signed a contract. Well,  I came home 2 weeks later. Found out, we owed that Stupid Metropolitan Education three thousand dollars @ 19% APR. I wish, I was there to beat the s*** out of the old man. Anyway, second time, there were 2 ladies showing up to sell the same junk. One was older. I guess, they are mother-daughter scam artist. Be careful. The mofo @ chicago was rude, bred from low class crap.

Got a message:

I got this note on my door before 9:30am.  After reading these posts I'm glad I didn't leave my info when I called.

I received the blue Final Notice thing i my door too today.  Guess it might be a scam after reading all this information

Same story as everybody else.  Left on our door, however, never heard anyone knock.  The address comes back to a real estate property that went up for a sheriff's auction last year.  Still trying to find out the company that owns the phone number.  Its probably a sales technique to get you phone number so they can set an appointment with you.  Vaccum companys like Kerby uses similiar techniques.

Same ordeal....Just a final notice merchandise delivery card stuck in my door.  Called the number all it said was to leave a call back number.  Sounds like a scam to me.

I received this notice on my door this morning. I got up at 7am and saw the notice at 8:30am. I never heard a knock or bell ring and I was right by the door. The dog was barking at someone but in the back. I am from Norfolk area, but I never received any other notices. Looks like some type of scam to get your info. I didn't order anying and if I had it would be shipped through UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHA.

I just recieved the same message on my door today while at work with the same response for the number that I called. Any other update on what this is ?

The number is a Norfolk/Virginia Beach number.  I did not recieve a call from them, but I did get a "final notice" on my door that they tried to deliver something.  I tried calling the number, but all I get is a "leave your number and we'll call you back."  THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES!!!  Happy hunting!

It's a Virginia number. Anyone has any other details?
