SCAM: Caller identifies himself as "Erik Lawson" from the government saying that I have won $500.00 from the government I told him no thank you and hung up, he called me back, and said that he wanted to give me the money and he did not understand why I would hang up on him.  I just hung up on him again.  Also I got like 4 more phone calls tonight from this number and the other phone number they use...I had to change my phone number because of this harassment. He also gave me a "badge Id number".

I received a call first from (757)819-4769, then when I hung up they called me from (757)644-5877. It was a gentleman that stated I won money from the U.S. government. I knew this was a scam but decided to humor him to get details so that I could report the call. He sounded like he was reading from a script. He stated that he needed to verify information so that he could send me money. He told me my correct full name, and address, at this point I got upset. I asked him what he wanted to me to tell him and since he sounded foreign, he didn't understand what I said like he didn't speak very much English. He stated that they can transfer the money right from the U.S. government bank to my bank acct. I knew he was going to ask for my bank information to possibly steal money from my account. I hung up. When you receive these calls, tell them that you do not need any money and to stop calling. Worked for me.

Received call asking for me by name.  When I asked who was calling, the caller said, "James".  I said, "Where are you calling from".  He said an, "An online pharmacy".  (I don't use an online pharmacy.)  I said, "I'm sorry, she isn't in, may I take a message?".  The caller hung up.  I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought, but the caller knew my name.  That was the scary part.

Caller called and asked to speak to me. He had a very strong middle eastern accent. He said he was with United Mortgage and wanted to give me an equity loan. I said I wasn't interested. He then said "Thank you a**hole." I asked him what he just said and he said again "Thank you a**hole". I looked up the number on reverse phone detective and it showed a business name of O2c but no address. I reported it to the phone company. How did he know my name?

I received a call from this number and they asked to speak to me they said they were calling from Debt Service Center and asked me if i had more than $10,000.00 in credit card debt........i asked them never to call me about

I've just begun recvng calls from this number on my cell phone about two days ago.  However, when I pick up the caller hangs up, when I try to call the number back it's a number that isn't in service??!!

i didnt answer but when i called back it said it was not in service.

my name and number is unlisted and the still called me.  even asked if there was a relatives number i could be reached at.

Middle eastern accent saying he was in charge of giving me my medical card. I informed him I worked for the US Government and that he was not in charge of that. He said he would remove my number. H has also called my mom asking for her ssn and medical card stuff. We need to find this person, who do we report it to.

Sometimes they get the names from either the "Vernon" directory or just online phone book info, white pages, yellow pages etc.
I wouldn't pay again for reverse lookup if I were you.  Use all the free ways online to find out who it is.  This is because they just use various "call display" fake numbers. Clues in other messages that people post are the best.

I received a call from a guy who knew my name. He had a middle eastern accent and said he wanted to give me a home equity loan. I told him I wasn't interested and he said " Thank you a***ole", I asked him what he said and again he said "Thank you a***ole" then hung up.I paid 20 bucks to do a reverse lookup and it showed a map off off Princess Anne Road but no address. It stated it was a Cox business number with the name O2c. There is no business with this name. Who are these people.

I have received multiple phone calls from this same number and they are very rude..I mean 18 phone calls with in 48 hours.

I have recieved 15 calls from this number in the past 2 days saying that they wanted to speak to Debi I said this is and they would say that they are with the US Federal Government and that since I do not have a criminial background and I have filed my taxes I am entitled to $200-$500 each month for the next 6 months, I then at that time told them to stop calling me otherwise I would turn them in to the apporpriate authorities for 1 Harrassing phone calls and 2 for using the US Federal Governments name for the use of telemarketing and he (the caller) proceeded to to tell me to shut the "F" up and to listen I then in turn hung up, I do continue to answer the phone when they call so it may be documented on my incoming calls on my phone bill and I will proceed with legal actions if this continues. I am not completely sure who I need to call except for the no call hotline which I already have done. I have tried to call this number back but it states..your call can not be completed as dialed, I have dialed it with and with the 1 and area code and still nothing. I did a reverse look up and they are calling from a land line and the office building is coming from St. Pauls Blvd and East City Hall Ave, as the map on WhitePages.com shows doing a reverse lookup

Caller called and asked to speak to a person who lives here.  I asked the caller who they were and they said that wanted to speak to and repeated the name.  I told them that she was on oxygen and asked again who they were and what they wanted.  They hung up.  When I tried to call back, I got a recording that said that the number wasn't working.
