Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  My number is registered with the Don Not Call Registry.  Did not answer and no message left.

Got a call on my cell just about 3 minutes ago. Called back from a landline - number just rings busy.

757 990 8895 is CBE a collection agency noted for aggressive and annoying telephone calls.
This same outfit calls with the caller ID of CBE GRP telephone #845-770-0061.
Evidentley CBE GRP is the parent of the other group.
I do not owe this outfit money nor have I ever had dealings with them. I do report each call to the Do Not Call Registry. CBE calls, I report. Bob L.

This same thing happened to me 4/7/10 @ 4:30. he asked for me and when I said speaking, he hung up. I called back 10 different Xs, no answer, just busy.

I am sorry to hear about your cancer.  I too received in the past 2 days many calls from this phone number.  I called and got a recording, but it was in Spanish.  I did not wait to talk to anyone.  I would report it to the Do Not Call site on the internet.  They give you a box just like this one to be able to explain what the problem is..

This number keeps calling me and then leaves no message. This is very annoying and I wish that there was somewhere we could report them.

It's a collection agency for Directv.  They are very annoying.  They mail you payment coupons (4 months worth).  When you make payment, they send more payment coupons with the lower debt amount.  Although you are making timely payments with their payment coupons, they continue to call you.  They call me on a daily basis 3 - 6 times a day - they never leave a message.  They also call from different number and area codes.  I don't owe anyone else, so it has to be them.  I have one more payment with these a$$holes.  Once I finish paying and they continue to call, I am going to curse them out.  It makes you not want to pay because they harass the hell out of you!

Be aware of this Directv is a SCAM.  I had them for years (approx. 8 yrs).  One of my boxes stopped working, I called them they said no problem and sent a new box.  Less than a year later, I wanted to cancel my service because I was moving and SURPRISE, my contract was renewed for 2 years without my knowledge (keep in mind I did not have a contract prior to replacing a box that was broken).  When they sent me a new box, apparently it renewed my contract.  At no, time was this ever mentioned or I would have kept the broken box.  Once I received the box, I had to send the box back because the new one wasn't working.  I actually had to send back two new boxes because they were defective.  So that's at least 3 conversations with Directv and no one ever mentioned this renewal.  My cancellation fee was over $500.  I moved in the process and never received a final bill with the credit of the returned boxes (which if you don't return they charge for the boxes even though I purchased one of them at Best Buy). Even though I continued to pick up my mail at my old address and I eventually forwarded the mail to my new home - I never received a bill.  These a$$holes put me in collections!  I never received a call from Directv - just straight to collections.  I pay my debts, so I am paying the collection agency.

"F" Directv!  I hope someone brings a class action lawsuit against them soon - I will be the first one in line!

Agreed.  Direct TV seems to be using this as some kind of scam.

The Attorney General of my state said my issue with Direct TV will be listed under "Consumer Fraud"  Direct TV took it upon themselves to use a collection agency to harass a good standing customer, so I will let the AG handle my issue.

Direct TV has no right to put a law abiding citizen's name to a collection agency when they are the one who is in error. Our payments to the company were paid in full every single month on time until our contract was completed. Direct TV has erred and in their bookkeeping and proceeded to put us in a collection agency. We have phone them several times for them to make the correction, but apparently they do this to many people. AND IT NEEDS TO STOP! We are in the process of dealing with our Attorney General Office under public integrity of companies putting citizen's names to collection agency at their will because they can. No one should be subjected to these calls who are innocent of the charge. WE WILL NOT DEAL WITH DIRECT TV AGAIN as they would have had future business from us. This intimidation from this company is a shame.

I have been getting the same phone calls, they have call me 2 times a day! Last night during a Tornado alert and that was 7:55pm est. rings for 5 and they just hang up. called me this morning @8:34 am est; and rang 5 times before hanging up! The phone number is coming from a company in   Temperanceville  VA. and it is a Debt collector!

I do not answer if I do not know the number therefore I have not answered either,but they keep calling.  Did you find out if there is a place to report  them?  Even if it is a collection agency as someone suggested, don't we have some rights? Some of us are really unable to pay not because we don't want to but because of small things like not having a job because of CANCER.

Got the call tonight by this number and answered and heard the 'hold for CDA group' and then a woman came on and asked for Efricka...to which there's no Efricka here so it was the wrong number they called.

CDA is a collection Agency. They won't speak to you until you confirm you are the person they are looking for. Yes they are legit.. still a pain in the butt though.

This is the second day in a row I received a call from this number with no message! I also do not answer if I do not recognize! Thanks for the heads up on their intent!

received phone calls from unknown but this number shows up on my phone bill, no msg as i don't answer unknown calls. (answered 1 time they started asking for name, address, & social but would not identify who they were, this is not info i give out to anyone) i got number off phone bill called got recording saying thank you for calling cda group a rep will be with you shortly when rep got on phone i asked what the type of business he said a "multi faceted" business he ask for personal info so he could remove me & i told him if he could not identify what the type of business then i would not give him personal info i told him i am reporting to the fcc. if this is a collection agency they have to legally inform you that it is an attempt to collect a debt, but in my belief it is a scam to get ss#,name & other personal info.

When you call this number, the machine says "welcome to the CDA Group", followed by "please hold for a representative". Its listed as an unregistered cell phone number.   Most likely a pesky telemarketing scheme or worse a scam to seperate the unweary from their money.
