Caller ID said "URGENT". That's all I need to know to decide the call is NOT urgent for me. And it was not "urgent" enough for the caller to even leave a message. What a joke this outfit is.

I answered the phone, it is an automated message telling me that I can get a lower interest rate on my credit card and tells me to wait for a representative. I hung up.
I don't even own a credit card. This is DEFINITELY A SCAM!!

These guys tried calling me today. I recently had my purse and stolen so I am thinking the thief sold my info to these a*******s. Does anyone know who to report these guys to. I didn't actually speak to a real person.

called on my cell, didn't leave a message. i'm not going to bother to call them back. if they didn't leave a message, they aren't some one who knows me or my boyfriend, who also uses my phone, and don't really care to talk
although it's good to know, by the other posts, that this is just a pain in the a** sales call

Another hang up call. I tried calling back but they still had no identification. They must not be proud of who they are.

Definitely seems like a scam. Called about lowering my interest rate. Said they worked for a number of companies (and just named all the big issuers), asked for my card number and last 4 digits of social. When I asked them to provide any information to authenticate that they actually were authorized to discuss my account (e.g. something that wasn't just me providing info and them saying "that matches our records") they transferred me to a 'manager' who tried to argue that since they weren't asking for the last 3 digits on my card, I had nothing to worry about. They still didn't provide any real identifying info. Said their company name was Credit Card Services (which is awfully generic), and they had no website. When I started to say I wasn't interested, the 'manager' hung up on me mid-sentence.
DEFINITELY feels scammy to me.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone at around 10:30 am EST. I missed the call, thank goodness, and they did not leave a message. Got curious as to who would have called me and googled the number, which led me here. This is incredibly irritating. I thought cell numbers were private. Apparently I was wrong.

They called my cell number, although I don't post it anywhere - so how do they get it? Glad I looked on here - will also be reporting them.

Just got called by them as well -- no message left. I am on the do not call list as well and never get any sort of calls like this. I didn't answer, but called back and no one answered -- busy signal several times and then an automated message.

They s..k.. Try this .. hit *60 and listen . I am with comcast and I can block 12 numbers free of charge. It doesn't get rid of all the calls but it helps. As time goes by erase the earlier blocked calls and add the new ones as they come up. Who knows ATT or Verizon might do more than blocking 12 calls for free. Ask your phone company, It does help reduce the garbage..*60 gives you instructions on how to block calls...Good luck. Landline only . I haven't checked if it works with cells because they never call my cell....yet.

Just received a call from this corporate fascist bankster fraud company (760-204-4226) and "whoever?" (ROBOCALLED) me did not leave a message. Call came in on October 11th 2012 at 11:10 AM PST. I am also on a national DNC list so I do not know why these corporate bankster fascists would be calling me...on top of the fact that I have massive debt and do not even qualify for credit cards. The banksters in this country should have been imprisoned after the 2008 criminal debacle. The uber-rich always get away with their crimes. "The People" shouldn't allow this to happen anymore...but then I see my fellow Americans are STILL keeping their money (which doesn't exist anyway since the monetary system on this planet [was] based on what was called the Bretton Woods System where in 1944, there was an international conference held in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire where it was decided that the U.S. dollar was to be used as the world's reserve currency which is funny, since in 1913, the Federal Reserve [a privately held bank and NOT Federal in any way, shape or form] made a private, behind closed doors deal with a very small handful of corrupt senators over the Christmas holiday weekend where they met with the top criminal banksters of the time on what is known as Jekyll Island in the state of Georgia. The deal that these criminal banksters and these handful of corrupt and criminal senators made was that the American people would be made to pay a tax on their labor called the Income Tax, and using paper money that would be no longer backed by gold or silver. You see...paper money used to be called CERTIFICATES and it used to say it right on the bills themseves. You could walk into any bank prior to 1913 and exchange any of your "paper" CERTIFICATES for whatever the paper certificate was labeled with whatever type of precious metal it represented...such as a GOLD CERTIFICATE or a SILVER CERTIFICATE. Now what these criminal banksters along with their criminal senator friends created was what has been in circulation ever since the gold and silver backed paper certificate system was destroyed...making the paper money we play with today literally worthless. Yes, it is absolutely true, the paper and metal money you use today...especially U.S. dollars and cents...is completely worthless! It is what is called: FIAT CURRENCY. Fiat means no value, worthless, zero, null and void.)
I highly recommend to all the readers here today that you watch the documentaries "End of the Road" on Netflix...if you have Netflix...as well you should also watch the documentary "America: From Freedom to Fascism" by Arron Russo (may he rest in peace). There are plenty of other very prescient and important documentaries that are easily and readily available on Netflix and I suggest my fellow Americans start educating yourselves immediately if you have no idea about how the monetary system works in this county.
EDUCATE YOURSELVES! GET YOUR MONEY OUT OF THE MAIN-STREAM OLD SCHOOL ESTABLISHMENTS SUCH AS BANK OF AMERICA, J.P. MORGAN CHASE, WELLS FARGO, AND THE OTHER CRIMINAL CIA DRUG CARTEL LAUNDERING BANKS AND PUT YOUR MONEY INTO A LOCAL CREDIT UNION. ALSO...START BUYING GOLD AND SILVER. WHEN YOU SEE THESE HOLE-IN-THE-WALL SHOPS OPENING UP IN YOUR LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS THAT ARE OFFERING TO BUY YOUR GOLD OR SILVER, DO NOT DO IT!!! DO NOT SELL THE ONLY REAL MONEY YOU HAVE!!! THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY IS COLLAPSING AND IS ON ITS WAY OUT!!!! BE WARNED! THIS IS NOT THE RANTINGS OF A CONSPIRACY THEORIST OR A LUNATIC. THIS IS A WARNING FROM SOMEONE WHO IS JUST ONE OF THE GROWING NUMBER OF AMERICANS WHO HAS DONE HIS RESEARCH AND IS WAKING UP TO THE TRUTH. IF YOU DO NOTHING, DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU.
~Peace

We have been getting this same call from a large variety of numbers for the past couple of years. Usually it's "Rachel" who is offering some "lower your interest rate" scam. Today they robodialed my wife's cell phone and "Rachel" has become "Heather." The calls supposedly originate from areas such as Seattle, Phoenix and even the Dominican Republic. This one however is from the area code of Mammoth Lakes, California, down the southeast side of the state out to Oceanside. I think the numbers are "spoofed." That means we don't know where they're really coming from. I expect they may simply be looking for your credit card number to run up charges on it. If you have the time to complain about it, please do so. The Attorneys General of some states, such as Arkansas, have filed suits against these telemarketers who are usually from south Florida.
