It appears as these people have changed their name again.  They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions".  They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice".  They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert".  According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

I have been doing some research and found something that you ex-employees might be interested in.   This is not Michael Hilgar's first time of being accused of scamming people at that same Casselberry location.  Please check out 678-294-9582 & 706-631-1851 on 800 notes (there are many more numbers, Marty listed a few above).  Sounds like Michael Hilgar is doing the same thing as he did before, just using different names.  It appears that he was starting to get into some type of trouble and even temporarily shut down.  Then he changed his product and his names and off he goes again.  Hopefully you ex-employees have enough information to stop this man for good.

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana.  Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company.  Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada.  If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.

Check out what Indiana is doing to them:
http://www.legalnewsline.com/news/237063-ind. ... st-fla.-company

The name of this company is Elite Information Solutions out of Casselberry, Florida, but the company is using a UPS store address in Orlando for their principal place of business.  Company owner is Michael Hilgar.  This company goes by several FAKE names.  Here are a few names that they are using:  Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

A good idea to call the phone provider.  Did the representative from Cox give you a direct number to call or an URL or e address?

The message includes Press 5 to be removed - I listened once live and tried to Press 5 quickly enough, but was cut off.

The message cites authorities, American Heart A**'n and another, tries to frighten.

At 9 pm my home phone had a long steady ring...not the normal short ring......ring.....ring.  These people have figured out how to make my phone ring steadily for about 15 seconds.  Makes people want to immediately answer. Right?   My caller ID showed the above number but I never answer these unknown ID calls.  Very late in the evening for a scammer but as we know:  they are what they are.

I get many calls from this number.  I have a VoIP service that allows me to flag numbers to be given a disconnected signal and message.  Granted there is no one on the line to hear the recording, but their system apparently doesn't recognize the disconnected number signal used by telephone systems.  I doubt there is anything that can be done other than just ignoring the call.  If it wasn't for my VoIP service being able to intercept these calls, I'd probably cut my phone service altogether.  If I wanted to irritate them (turnabout is fare game, right) I'd answer the call and leave the phone off the hook.  Somehow someone is paying for the phone service and if it's not costing you anything go ahead and burn their minutes.

Just connect your phone to your printer and FAX machine.  Set the fax to answer after say 3 calls - problem solved.  Who wants to hear a fax in their ear (assuming it is a real person anyway).

People who know me have my cell number.  This is for my land line.  Works like a charm.  The "do not call" registration has never worked, but the fax machine does.

Just got a call with a hang up.  I'll do my normal call-blocking and file complaints with FTC and FCC but it doesn't do any good.  At least the complaints let them know that someone is still violating the Do Not Call law. Call-blocking doesn't work in the long run.  These guys have far more numbers that I have call-blocking capacity (12 on my phone).  I have to remove a number from mine to add another.  I do this about every other day.

Hang up, file complaints, and pressure lawmakers to pass a law that has teeth and deals with these criminals as the criminals they are.  They're not only violating the Do Not Call law but they're also engaged in fraud, identity theft, and probably other crimes.  The FBI needs to go after these guys.

*60 is a service you have to buy from your phone service provider at $X/month. You have to set it up with your phone company if you want it. *09 blocks and traces the call. Check them out here www.nanpa.com/number_resource_info/vsc_definitions.html

Called the number back using the *67 blocking feature I have with Centurylink.  A recording came on stating "The number at Ring Central you have dialed is not in service at this time."  I searched  and found ringcentral.com and found it is a cloud phone business.  I assume people can get phony phone numbers from them so a trace can't be made.

Got a pre- recorded call about Senior Alert. Choose the option to talk with someone and was on hold with very bad music for over a minute. No one came on so I hung up. Want to request being taken off the list, we are a DO NOT CALL number. Wondered if the call was just to rack up minutes since the hold was so long. But other posts nixed that theory. ANNOYING.

The national pandemic of telephone terrorism perpetrated by desperate criminal collection agencies and scam artists of every despicable sort is because they are trying to terrorize people who are naive enough to answer and submit to unsolicited telephone calls or written "collection" letters that have no legitimate legal debt associated with them or any of the companies, universities, or whomever else they claim to represent. Because most "little guys" were bankrupted by the criminal Wall St / Congress / Big Oil / Big Bankers / Big Business / Military / Robber Barons, so the desperate collection agencies are attempting to collect unpaid debts from innocent people by terrorizing them into submission. News reports claim that some of these nefarious rogue calls are originating from overseas, where the caller claims to be a relative down on his or her luck who needs hundreds or thousands of dollars to get out of trouble, a policeman or government agent threatening their unwitting victims with lawsuits, fines, garnishments, seizures of property and imprisonment, and any other unconscionable tactic they can use to terrify and swindle the unwary out of their life savings.

Word of advice. NEVER answer any calls you don't recognize or are not expecting. Use selective call rejection service if available, or switch to an Internet-based telephone service which provides comprehensive call rejection options. If rogue calls become chronic, turn off all the ringers on all of your phones except one, and set its volume to the minimum setting. If you don't answer the call and the caller is legitimate, they will usually leave a voicemail after the first or second try. Rogue callers almost never leave voicemail messages because that could be used as evidence against them if it came to a lawsuit. If you receive a rogue letter in the mail warning you of some "collection" action against you, if you don't actually owe it, reply with a short letter stating that you don't owe it. Or if you do owe all or part of it, reply with something like "You claim I owe you a debt. Under §809 FDCPA, I request validation of this debt."

Only give them your name as THEY have written it to you (e.g. ?John Doe? not ?Jonathon Q. Doe? or however you normally sign your own name), address, and the account number they report. But if you do not owe the debt (zombie debt, aged debt, mistaken or stolen identity, forgery, etc.) state that you have never done any business with them or with the (alleged) original creditor of any kind and you expect the collection agency to close the matter, stop harassing you and take any bad credit marks they've caused off of your credit rating, and furthermore, that any further contact from them must be in writing on their official business correspondence letterhead. Send your letter to them a.s.a.p., always within thirty days, first class certified mail return receipt requested. If they refuse it and you get the letter back unopened, leave it unopened and save it in your files as evidence against them should they pursue legal action against you. If they did receive it and continue to pursue action against you, let them. The judge will throw it out of court. If the rogue collection agency sells your account to another rogue collection agency just tell them the claim has been proven invalid and offer to send them a copy of your letter to the previous rogue collection agency.

Warn all your friends about this rash of desperate collection agency terrorism, and how to combat it. Knowledge is power. The more you learn how to combat rogue collection agencies, back-taxes scammers, phishing scammers, "faith and family" scammers, political action committees and other low-life flimflammers, the more you will learn how easy it is to do.

Above all, keep a record of everything, of every rogue call w/ caller ID information displayed including time and date of each call. Maintain a complete file on any snail-mailed intimidation from rogue collection agencies, including copies of all correspondences and postal receipts. Reporting rogue calls on sites like 800notes.com, whocallsme.com, phoneowner.info is a great idea too, because many people find these sites by googling for the rogue number(s) after receiving calls from them.
