This 760-278-1861 has been calling us wanting a debt payment they change their names each time they call but it sounds like the same person each time. they call my in-laws phone and harass them all day wanting to talk to us they also call our cell phones. How can we stop this?

They keep calling me at work on my cell saying i owe them money my lawyer called them and they wouldnot give them any information to whom they where when he calls me i just keep repeatly calling him back just like they do to me he gets bad and hangs up on me i can do the same to them if they donot leave me alone i will keep hitting speed dial and have very bad words until he hangs up.

they are not legit. give them NOTHING. no info, no confirmation if they ask you to verify the info they have. and definitely give them NO MONEY!

These people are unbelievable! They have called me 22 times this morning alleging that I have not repaid a loan and are going to have me arrested! The loan was repaid. They are calling from a landline that is located in Blythe, they have a fax number is Seattle and told me their address was in Oceanside with a fake suite number. I told them to meet me at the Sheriff's Department, they hung up. Threats, calling my supervisor and telling her they are going to have me arrested and fired. How do we make them stop. Called the police, they can't do anything. I think I'll call the State Attorney General and see what they say....argh!

I am receiving harassing calls from some foriegn person claiming I never paid back a payday loan  I never took out to begin with! like the others he threatens law siut and claims they are from the Anderson Law firm in Woodstock city,Calif. How do I stop those damn Theives?

A foreign person has called me from several numbers including this one.  He claims I defaulted on paying back a loan and threatens me with a lawsuit!  I want to know how we can report these numbers as a scam and harassment!  They also call my work and harass my co-workers and supervisors.

THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers use bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

These people called me at home. Work. And my cell. They called my work over 30 times today. Over and over being very rude to my employees. I have been suspended from my job for all of the constant phone calls. I was told it was Armstrong Law Firm. I tried to give him my lawyers info and he would not take it he insisted that my lawyer call him. I hope this is taken care of!

they called me also but when the call came in it said international and then 760-278-1861 so they are not even calling from the U.S.

Accented man called me saying that had a lawsuit filed against me-asked for me by name. Stated that if I didn't call back what would happen would 'be on me'. Not appreciative of some crazy scam artist finding out my info and threatening me!

A foriegner keeps calling my cellphone and work phone stating that I have to pay him $5200 or I will go to jail and I need to hire an attorney.  He talked to our Human Resources dept and said he needed to contact me.  This is rude and embarrassing!  I DO NOT owe them money and do not appreciate them calling my work.  I want this to stop! Please someone find these scam artists and lock them away for good!

I have had this paul guy call me over and over and i keep ignoring the calls finally i told my wife to answer to see who it was. she told them i wasn't home. they wouldn't give her the name of the company just told her it was a legal matter that his name was paul and gave this number to return his call, so she kept insisting on what company was he with finally he said but she couldn't make out the name only law firm. so she said i'm sorry can you repeat that and the guy got rude. said are you deaf or are you dumb so she hung up. they called right back and i answered and told them not to call my phone again. they clled back 5 more times and i didn't answer finally they left a voice message cussing me out telling me to go under a bus and my wife too that he was going to show up at my work tomorrow and get me fired. he also called from 0000 and 619-399-0204.

These people are rude as hell. They can barely speak English and have the nerve to yell and threaten "to get you fired" over a debt that the refuse to explain to you. If anyone has any information on whethr this is legit please post. Thanks!

760-278-1861 called 3 times in 2 minutes.  My employee working the phones was polite.  He asked for her supervisor.  The accented "gentleman" is obnoxious.  Same story as the rest of you telling about a debt.

I just received a call from 760-278-1861 as well.  They claim to be from Melrose Law Firm in San Diego, CA.  Also claiming I defaulted on paying back a loan and threatening legal action.  I've had other numbers call me as well with same story.  Don't give them any info at all!  I talked with the real Melrose Law in San Diego, and it is definately not them.
