This just happened to me today! They are now using the phone number 415-952-3898. They are going as Michelle brown and Anthony Carter. I called them back and it went unprofessional really fast!

I got the same phone call. I said ok...i'll get right on that...just as soon as I call the FCC and the Attorney General's office to see what's going on because I have no loans with any online payday loan company. The guy said we have already turned YOU in to the Attorney General's office. I said ok...Well let me call them and get all the documentation for this loan that I supposedly got..and he said...no need but since you want to be rude have a nice day and I will have to police at your door within a matter of minutes....I said ok...tell em to come on..I'll be waiting! He hung up on me...lmao!!!! So I keep calling and calling and they keep hanging up on me..I figure i'll harass them like they do me! Oh and still no Police at my door :)

True...when i called Emilio he asked me for my SSN and Mothers Maiden Name.......Told me that he is putting in a mass complaint with FTC and FBI......HE must be with the other Guys

Ha. I did this, and they immediately said good bye and hung up on me. What is it they are trying to get?

this number keeps calling me an will not say s*** to me i want this stopped i dont even think these people are from the united states

The people from above the number called and he had an accent and telling me that I needed to call them or else they I could face a serious charge. They also called my work and left me a voicemail. I was scared to death. Is this legal?

This is a scam do not give any info. I reported this to both the FTC and FBI and my local police as they threatened physical violence. No one can sue unless they serve you with papers. Under Federal Law, collectors has not allowed to harass you and when I told these guys I filed a complaint with FBI, they hung up. They also call from 760-278-3027 in a similar scam.

also received a call from this number at my work. again a foreign accent.

These idiots had me very scared. They called up here to work and was very embarrased. Thank goodness for websites like these! Ya'll made me feel so much better! Thanks...

I recive a mesage from a middle eastern man.  I called back the number.  He wanted me to give him my lawyer's fax number to send out the subpeona and other leagl papers.  i told him I didn't know what he was talking about.  He told me that I reeived a call last week from the local sheriff.  I told him that as not true and I did not know anything about it.

He said he would read the charges to me but I could not interrupt him.  Just as he started to talk we had a huge thunder clap.  I tried to tell him that I missed what he was saying due to the storm and he replied, "I told you do not interrupt me. Call me back when you have time and won't interrupt me. I don't have time for this sh*t!"  And then he hung up.

He also left a message at my work.  The messages are not very understandable due to the accents.

There has to be a way to stop this guy from doing this!!!

I used to get calls from these VULTURES. Do not confirm anything and tell them the call is being recorded. Also tell them that you will be turning over the recording to the FCC or something official and YOUR lawyer will get back to THEM. no more calls for me. ;)

This is a scam dont be scared. 1st they cont charge you with a criminal charge for non payment the most a loan company will do is try to collect and send you to the credit report let them know they are being recorded for you safety and theirs they should hang up if not advise them that you are notifying the authorities

thank you emilio this has gotten out of hand this is the second atempt they try to scam me the firs time i told them go ahead i'll be waiting to be picked up and will file a report for fraud, they left me alone for about 7mo untill now

I received the same phone call from this number, a man named david johnson left me a voicemail on my cell phone. i called back and a woman answered and told me i had warrant out for my arrest. she told me that i would be charged with theft by deception, fraud and something else. she said she would send this information to my place of employment. she would not give me any information at all and i knew this was a scam because ive never borrowed a payday loan, and she hung up. later on david johnson callled saying that i need to contact his attorney michale carter and gave me his phone number which was the same phone number he just callled from, i called him and hesaid a police officer will be coming to arrest me on monday and when i asked where the payday loan was located he said im not able to give that information and hung up. These people need to be caught asap, i traced the number and the number is located in blythe california

Just got a voicemail from some indian accented guy claiming to be Justin Wert and heard the same speech everyone has mentioned from these scammers.  Reported them to the FBI

I just got a call on my cell and when I told them they were running a scam they called my work number which I don't know how they got the number as I am not listed in any ownership of my company. Anyway, I told them I've gone through their scam before and I'm aware of my rights and will be reporting them to the local government like I've done before.

Never heard of anyone being arrested for not paying back any loan  Just look at Gov Christie he got over 300 million for infrastructure repair and schools when he didn't apply those funds for that purpose the feds wanted the money back and the Gov said NO They aren't prosecutting him for anything. So I wouldn't worry one second what these clowns are spewing  NOBODY IS COMING TO ARREST YOU!

This number 760-278-3027, called and contact human resources asking for me,,,,,i dont know this number and they request me or my attorney.

I got the same one from a woman. Crazy!

My message is the same as the others on here! Glad to know this is a scam. I wasn't sure what he was talking about and was getting kind of worried until I relized other people have gotten the same calls I have. SCAM!! These people should be ashamed of themselves. Then he went on asking me if I had an attorney. I asked them what for and they told me that I was being sued ad that I am being arrested on Monday, and at my job! They told me that I am being arrested bc I'm not paying my loans. He also told me that if I have questions then I would have to call 7602783027, the same number that called, and speak with a Michael Carter... Uh excuse me, but all my loans have payment dates that I pay. And also you wouldn't be arrested for that s**t.
After I told them that I know they are scammers and that I'm calling the police they went off on me then hung up. I tried calling them back on my work phone and there was no answer. But some how I called with my cell to see if they would answer, and they did. WTF?

I just received a call from the same number...I had no idea what he was talking about. Then he proceeded to tell me that a company had transferred me a loan and they tried to take payment out of my account and my bank declined. Then he said I would be arrested tomorrow by the Sheriff, and he would be sending documents to my home address and work. He also told me that my bail would be $1200 and if I didn't have a lawyer one would be appointed to me. So after all this I called the sheriffs office and of course there was nothing at all regarding me. I can't wait for them to call back,..especially since my brother works for the government and has FBI clearance! I will do everything I can to stop these idiot's!
